Prayer is powerful and necessary. And yet many of us (myself included) do not pray enough. Our children are some of the most important people in our lives, and we have the responsibility and blessing of raising them. Pray must be an integral part of that. This book helps you pray specifically for you children, covering the obvious topics but reminding us of other important areas to pray for that are easy to overlook or miss. This book also has 30 chapters (the 31st is specifics about how to pray for your adult children), so you can pray one specific thing for your child each day if you wish. The prayers are based upon scripture and praying for God's will for your children. It is useful whether your child is a newborn or a parent himself!

In my life group, we went through "The Power of a Praying Parent" in the spring, 2015. I bought and used this study guide as an additional resource. I thoroughly enjoyed the study guide, and I thought that it added a lot to the book. I would highly recommend using it in conjunction with the book.
