Bill Callahan, columnist, blogger, superhero, is Oracle. It isn't easy being a hero, especially a D-Class one with a single power. Seeing the future was a huge edge, even for an otherwise normal human, but he still had to carefully choose his battles.

Everything changed for him, when he joined forces with the Nocturnal Maidens, and their hero team had been unofficially renamed to Oracle's Maidens. Not only his super life, where he no longer needed to let some criminals go, but in his personal life as well. He'd never been happier, and was head over heels for Sara, AKA Dark Succubus.

Four months have passed since the events in book one, and things are going to change for him again, radically. Sara makes a suggestion that blows his mind and causes waves on the home front. His wonderful new life is about to be tested, and to all appearances it starts to disintegrate around him.

If that wasn't bad enough, he was about to face the greatest challenge of his life thus far. As Oracle, he'd always had the advantage over his foes in knowing the future. But… what if an enemy had that same insight?

On a whim, I started writing erotic short stories online, and to my surprise they were always highly rated, and more than that, I found I loved to write. Since then I have worked at improving my writing, and started publishing on Amazon.

This is not the author's best work. This author is known for writing fantasy harem books. The plots are all very similar and follow a general path. The trick is how to make each one different enough to be interesting. One of the most interesting aspects of this story is how the author is going to have the MC get a harem together and make it interesting/believable. Most of the time he does a good job. He takes someone from this world and moves him to another world where the culture is different. There are a couple of ways this new society can affect how this works: 1) Way more women than men in the world 2) Being a feudal society where it is expected for men to have multiple women 3) The man has some kind of power that enhances the women he is with 4) The men in most of these worlds treat women as property and the MC treats them with respect so they can't help but want to be with him. That or some combination of the above.

I don't think the author did a good job in this book with that aspect. In the last book it was just Sara and Bill sleeping together. Sara's 2 foster sisters Kate and Janice were lesbians and together. In this book it is 4 months later and the group has become really close. So close that Kate and Janice also love Bill and want to be with him as well. I knew this was coming but the entire setup was sloppy. Kate and Janice are in love, they have been for a long time. After the abuse that they went through it makes sense that they wouldn't want anything to do with a man. When Bill brought this up to Sara, she said, "They aren't lesbians, they are bi-sexual". How's that? The only man they have been with is their foster father who raped them and not anyone since. Why all of a sudden are they bi-sexual? This isn't a different world where Bill treats women better than anyone on the world. He doesn't increase their power by sleeping with them (except Sara of course - which is already sleeping with). I don't think the author is trying to imply this, but it comes across a little like saying that all a lesbian needs is to find the RIGHT man to make her bi-sexual. Again, I don't think that was the author's intent but it made me a little uncomfortable, that change between the 1st book and this book. Another thing I didn't like was having Sara be able to read every thought a person has after having sex with them. There was one time in the story that she had sex with Bill just to know what he was thinking. He also got in trouble in the end for having a thought about maybe needing to sacrifice himself. That does bring up a philosophical question though: If a man could have sex with any woman in the world but in doing so they would know every single detail about his life: would they still go through with it?

A new villain shows up and completely changes their world Someone named Harbinger has similar powers to Oracle and what Bill thought was going to happen didn't and they lose. I knew after reading the last book the author would have to add someone with this power to fight against the group. If someone can see the future, the only thing that can stop that person is someone else that can see the future. The group is outed and they no longer have secret identities.

There are a couple of things that foreshadow what is going to happen in the next book. I don't know if these are going to happen but I think they will. I am going to write them down now that way if I am right, there will be some proof. I think Janice didn't fight back against her foster father as much as the other girls. Either that or she was loaned out to other people or something like that. That is why she is ashamed, more than Kate and Sara. That is also why she is so much better at sex than the other 2 girls. Either that or she was with her foster father longer and it was her that requested to have sisters there to talk too. In which case she feels responsible for any abuse they suffered. Something like that.

The second thing. The home AI computer is going to build a robot body that can feel and become part of the family, having sex with the entire group. Of course, the girl they took out of prison is going to join as well. Got to have at least different girls sleep with the MC every book, at least that's the pattern.

I am going to read the next book mainly to find out if I am right about my predictions.

A nice sequel.

It was good to see how it didn't just focus and the hero or the sex but tried to be balanced. And the A.I. got love D.R's AI's. They the best. Anyway, enjoyed it another book by D.R that I like. Along with Ted Online, and the Chronicle's(both of them) and even Necromancer.

Good second story

This is a good book. You should read it. I like the story. The characters are fun. now an official harem
