Needing Forever Volume 1 was a follow up within Terri Anne Browning’s Rocker series for some of the spinoff characters within the series.
Volume 1 contained three short stories which focused on Kenzie/Bishop, Linc/Rhett and Mieke/Kaden. Although they can technically be read as stand-alones, understanding the backstories within the series filled in gaps, depths and dimension; therefore, I recommend reading the series prior to Needing Forever.
Story one: Kenzie/Bishop.
Kenzie was the adopted daughter to Axton and Dallas Cage (The Rocker Who Wants Me, book seven) and Bishop was the lead singer for the up and coming rock band, Alchemy. They were both mentioned within the series as a potential attraction. Browning quickly detailed how it was addressed, a conflict and a solution. It was short, sweet, sexy, fun and lots of good feels!
Story Two: Linc/Rhett
Linc was the gorgeous, gay best friend and roommate to Dallas, Harper and Lana. Rhett was a member of the up and coming rock band Trance. They had been together in previous books but Linc had pushed him away for the last time and Rhett was done. Browning took us through the conflict and produced another good feels short story!
Story three: Mieke/Kaden
Mieke was the daughter to Annabelle and Zander (The Rocker Who Betrays Me, book eleven) and frankly, I don’t know if we’ve met Kaden before. This story was one I don’t remember. I remember reading something about Mieke previously but I couldn’t find it, so for me it was a stand-alone and I was going crazy trying to remember a back story. I liked the premise and I loved the characters, but I wanted more!
All in all, Needing Forever was a great read for fans of the series. It served as a good, quick, short follow up for those characters we loved but weren’t front and center for their own full novel. They were a little short, but good updates. Needing Forever Volume 2 is next up with even more favorite but secondary spin off characters.

I need to preface this review by saying that I am a HUGE fan of the Rockers series, having devoured each and every one. Sometimes twice! I'm always up for more in the Rocker universe since the characters that Terri Anne Browning delivers are simply the best.
However, Needing Forever, a series of short stories involving a new generation of Rockers, missed the mark for me. Perhaps it's their length that I'm having trouble with, but it's like instalove on steroids. Each tale goes from zero to sixty and although I don't mind that for the most part, a few just seemed silly to me. Mieke's story in particular, that one made no sense to me whatsoever. Her 'beau' as she kiddingly calls her stalker is just that. They didn't know each other at all and now he's committed to her right from the start? I'm sorry but I just didn't buy it.
I'm guessing that for me and me alone, I needed more from each story. More development and more explanations as to the whys of these romances. Most just felt rushed and out of balance.
And to be perfectly honest, for the first time, i'm not sure I will continue with these particularly books in the Rocker Universe.

How convenient that everyone falls for the love of their life (stupid rich love of their life😑) at the tender age of 18-19. Perfect life then they have babies and it’s all good. Give me a break. I bought this because I had hope and was curious about the kids.

This is a book of short stories.
First up is Kenzie and Bishop. Bishop is in one of the bands that Axton signed and over a summer tour he falls in love with Kenzie. But one night after finally moving in to kiss her, he gets a phone call from another woman.
What Kenzie didn't know was that other woman was his sister, Paula. Paula is special needs and really the only family that Bishop has. When all is explained, its easy sailing for Kenzie and Bishop. I loved the Terri left this story short and sweet. Nothing else was needed from it.
Linc and Rhett is the second story. It’s probably the shortest novella in this book. It was great to see Linc finally pull his head out of his butt and go for Rhett.
The last short was Mieke. She is Zander’s daughter that he learned about a few years previous. After her first few weeks of college she meet Kaden and he instantly knows she is the one for him. Mieke’s character is a little staring because she has communication with her dead sister since she has her heart. This last one is real fast instana love. It wasn’t my favorite but maybe because I’ve read three back to back instant love stories.
Still love Terri Anne Browning! ❤️

Are you ready to go back into the rocker world and see where some of those characters you really wanted to know about ended up. Well welcome back to 3 of the characters we just can't get enough of Kenzie, Linc, and Mieke. This is where we find out did they fall in love or are they out their on their own? Who won their hearts if they are in love and is it the people we suspect?
This is another amazing hit from this author and can't wait to see what she will give us next. This collection will give you a chance to see where some people we already know are at and what is happening with ones we don't. There is so much I want to tell you about this collection but don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say once you start you won't want to put it down. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I absolutely loved all of these novellas! I am a huge fan of this series, so getting to be with these characters that I have fallen in love with along the way was perfection. I loved getting to see them each find their own version of happily ever after. I loved that it brought me back to a world that I will never get enough of. I loved the feel of the stories, I loved the peace of them, and I just loved that it made my heart melt with everything I got with them.
This is a must read for fans of the Rocker Series! You will love getting these stories, you will love getting to see how these characters get their chance at love, and you will love how it brings the whole world to such a fitting close!

Awesome
Three short stories in one book what more can you ask for.
I was drawn into this book right from the beginning, that's where I stayed until I had read the last word written. All the while I had my mini movie playing along in my head.
Surprises await you within the pages of this book, some are large and some are small. Some you will see coming, while others you won't, but each and everyone is equally important as the other, they all aide in making the stories awesome.
Terri Anne Browning never fails to hold your interest.
I highly recommend this book.
In all honesty I recommend every book she has written.

As an absolute huge fan of The Rocker series I couldn’t wait to read the first volume of Needing Forever. The Rocker series is one of those that not only did you fall in love with the main characters but all the side ones too. This first volume gives us exactly what some of those beloved side characters needed, their own forever. Their stories may be quick but it is also just enough to give us the depth of not only their love but their forever commitment. Three novellas that are passionate, emotional and sizzling hot.

A good compilation
These were good short stories, I really loved Kenzie and Bishop's story. They were adorable, and I loved the interactions Paula. I wanted more of Linc and Rhetts story, they were a couple that I was very excited to see get their HEA. Mieke and Kaden were a good couple, my only issue with them is that because this was such a short story, it felt like everything was pushed too fast and Kadens obsession with Mieke seemed borderline crazy. I loved the endings to all of the books. I am looking forward to volume 2, I want to see who will get their story.

This book is wonderful. Yes I highly recommend you read the rocker series first. Is it required, maybe not but to understand all and get the full effect you REALLY should. Ugh you get three short love stories. I loved them all. Yes they are quick reads but make me happy. Eek it was awesome being back in the rocker world. You get the an adopted daughter story, M/M storyline, and a found daughter’s love story. REALLY GOOD. I always happy to re-enter this world. Wink.

The three stories in this book are vastly different and all so good. I loved Kenzie and Bishop and the love for his sister. Linc and Rhett I forgot all about Linc being the roommate to the girls. I may have to do a re-read of the original rockers. Then Mieke and Caden and their Insta love connection. My heart swooned throughout the entire book!

Love that we got more of these characters
Great extension of the Rocker Series so glad we got a deeper looking to these characters. Linc has been a favorite of mine since we met him and I was happy that we got more of him! Definitely a must read!! Can't wait for part 2!!!

Oh my gosh, what a great read! Every story was so good. I had all the feels with each story. Such a great continuation of The Rocker Series. If you haven't read The Rocker Series, start now! It's worth it. Terri Anne Browning is an amazing author.

Short but sweet
Loved this! Getting to see into some of the other characters lives from the Rocker series was the perfect way to bring the series to an end and get us ready for the new generation. I can't wait for volume 2.

Amazing
I have loved Demon's Wing and Other World for like ever. These are some of my favorite rockers. I waited a long time for Linc to get his book. I can say it was worth it. I can't wait for the next volume to come out.

I can't recall Kenzie at all from the original series! I'm glad Linc got his HEA. I just wish that Mieke's would have been a full length novel instead of this novella. Her story has the near for it and I was left wanting more of her and Kaden.
