How do you teach a rock star how to meditate?

The number one question on Stéphanie’s mind sounds like the start of a bad joke, and life would be a whole lot easier if she actually knew the punch line.

Her meditation coach job description said nothing about private lessons for the most infamous lead singer in Montreal, but somehow Stéphanie still finds herself sitting cross-legged on a yoga mat, right next to a pierced and tattooed music legend who’d rather be anywhere else.

Meditation classes are Ace’s final chance to convince his record label that the last bender he went on really was his last. The demons that have sent him to the bottom of countless bottles might not give a damn about ‘soothing rhythmic chanting,’ but it’s either this or game over for his career.

He’s not what she wants. She’s not what he’s looking for. Yet somewhere amidst all the incense fumes, the lines between student and teacher get blurred.

Your Echo is part of the Sherbrooke Station Quartet, a series of steamy rock star standalones from author Katia Rose.

“Big or small, catastrophic or mildly inconvenient—life is defined not by the breaths we take, but by the moments that make us say, ‘Shit. That went fucking sideways.’”

This book wasn’t as good as Katia Rose’s queer romances, but it was still a fairly enjoyable read that tackled some deep topics.

I loved Stéphanie as a character. She was commanding, fierce, and vulnerable all at once. There were so many scenes that made me admire her as a character and I love how she tried to take action against the injustices her mom faced.

Speaking of Stéphanie’s mom, I’m so glad that Katia decided to tackle physical disabilities in this book. Stéphanie’s mom became disabled from a workplace injury, causing her to have to work overtime from a work at home job in order to support her daughter. The way Katia addressed physical disabilities and how disabled people need better support was done really well. As someone who is disabled, I really appreciated the conversations surrounding disability that were in this book. There were two quotes in particular I loved about disability in this book:

“The world should be set up to include people with disabilities like hers instead of banishing them to the sidelines.”

“Everyone talks about all the thousands in writeoffs and benefits people with disabilities supposedly get, but the truth is that our systems don’t work the way they’re supposed to. The people who need them most get left out and left behind.”

This book wasn’t only enjoyable for me; it was also educational. I’m from the United States so I had no clue about what it's like to be French in Canada. It was really eye opening for me see what a French person, like Stéphanie, goes through while living in Canada.

I had two issues with this book.

The first was Ace. While he eventually grew on me, he got on my nerves for the first half of the book. He was toxic to everyone around him. I felt like some of the bad things he did, he couldn’t come back from. For example, the racist remark he made about his friend Cole. I was also uncomfortable with Ace feeling sexual things about Cole’s girlfriend in the first chapter.

I didn’t like the meditation in the book. There’s this idea in meditation that was included in the book that always irritates me, which is that feelings are choices that people make - that people can just chose not to feel a certain way. As someone who has mental health problems, that is 100% awful and that idea always feels like victim blaming to me.

I overall liked this book despite my couple of issues with it. Your Echo was a solid second book in the Sherbrooke Station series and I’m looking forward to continuing with the rest of the series.

😍😭omg. I am in love.

I jumped at the chance to read this, and oh my god! This was everything I could have hoped for. It was so raw and beautiful. I literally read it in a day.

After reading book one, I'm actually happy this one was about Ace. Ace is a wonderfully broken character, he's so raw and there's so much to him.

Ace and Stéphanie are a perfect match, in so many ways. They both have inner demons, what they don't realize at first is that their paths have crossed before; the stem to their inner demons. It's absolutely heartbreaking, but so, so good.

It was unique, entertaining and had great characters. I found Your Echo a more captivating read than Your Rhythm. I cannot wait to read more of this series! I highly recommend it.

description I'm here because she's the first page of a story, and I want to read the rest."

Your Echo by Katia Rose is the second book in the Sherbrooke Station series, and unlike the first one, this story was deeper, angsty, and totally consuming.

This book had me hooked right from the beginning. The chemistry between Stéphanie and Ace was as intense as it was funny. Sparks and witty banter overflowed the pages. And I was right there with them from start to finish.

Katia Rose's writing style, original plot, and compelling main and second characters took me into a quick but wonderful trip to Montreal, a city I'm dying to visit after reading this book.

I'm so excited to read the next book. This series is getting better and better, and I'm pretty sure JP is going to steal the show once again.

Ugh! This series just gets better and better!! I love all the guys in Sherbrooke Station, but I was particularly looking forward to reading Aces story, and it definitely didn’t disappoint.
Filled with angst, humour and sizzling chemistry, YOUR ECHO hooks you from the very first page. The banter between the guys is hilarious and i love reading their interactions.
Katie Rose has a serious talent for storytelling, and has created characters that you just can’t help but fall in love with. If you haven’t read this series yet, then you are missing out on something pretty special.

This was... Intense! It took me a bit to get into, maybe because the mood was different from the previous novel, Your Rhythm and because Ace (understandably) doesn't make it easy to get to know him- true, the same goes for Stephanie, but even then I felt her a bit more open, more accessible from earlier on.

Katia Rose keeps aweing me with the intricate ways in which she entwines her characters, seemingly pushing her limits with each story, in regards to the deep connection her characters share: in this installment, true, there might have been a bit too much of coincidences/paralellisms between both MCs, but where another author may have cause this to flop because it was a bit too much, in her hands it just *works*.

True, this one may have been a bit too intense- a bit too angsty at times- for me (plus, I wasn't 100% into that scene with the candle, like it was a bit much for what I'm usually comfortable with), but it shows how carefully it was thought out, and regardless of my personal issues with the scene (which have to do with a purely personal taste thing, rather than with an aspect that's intrinsic to the scene itself and what it depicts), it could be appreciated that it was done in good taste, it was done with proper care, not just for shock value points or anything like that.

It's obvious the characters have great chemistry (although I wasn't sold about the impact of it being so sudden, so at the beginning), and even when I usually prefer my readings not to be excessively explicit, I can't say I was bothered by the on-page sex scenes. They were spread enough that it didn't seem too much. So that's another proof of the author knowing how to pace her stories just right.

Overall, I think I ultimately enjoyed Ace's character arc much better, even when I wasn't 100% buying it at times. I could relate to some of Stephanie's struggles, but I felt that her character arc wrapped a bit more abruptly. Nothing too detrimental to the story overall, though. I still enjoyed this a lot, and that definitely shows in how fast it was for me to finish it.

Your Echo by Katia Rose is the second book in the Sherbrooke Station series and I cannot express how much I love this author’s writing! It is unique and simply pulls you in. Her stories are simple but they pack a punch. They make you feel. Whether that is laughter or sadness, it is there in her writing to be experienced.

This book was no different. I was compelled by this page turning story.

“You’re passionate and unpredictable. You’re wild, powerful and yes, you’re a little dangerous, but you are so, so fucking beautiful, Stephanie.”-Ace

Ace Turner is the lead singer n a band. He is irresponsible and uses alcohol as a coping mechanism to hide from his past.

Stephanie is a free spirit, dancer and meditation coach. She has a lot of anger that directly relates to a past tragedy.

“Maybe part of me needs you.”-Stephanie

When Ace meets Stephanie, he is immediately intrigued. As fate would have it, Stephanie becomes his meditation coach. Together, they soften each other’s hard edges.

When faced with their pasts will their love survive?

This story is told in dual POV. The dialogue is witty and cute.

Katie definitely brought her A-game in this sexy read. The Sherbrooke Station series should not be missed.

I received an ARC of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own

Your Echo is Book 2 in the Shrebrooke Station series. After reading Your Rhythm (Book 1) I already have a good feel of the characters and Ace certainly intrigued me. As the band's front man with some clear issues that he is trying to hide with copious amounts of alcohol and women, I wanted to figure him out, so I was so glad to be reading his story.

Stephanie is a girl with her own past trauma's, she teaches ballet and meditation classes to help centre herself and keep her negative memories at bay. Whilst teaching a class four men join a little late, one member cannot keep his eyes off Stephanie and she, for the first time whilst teaching loses her focus and can think of nothing but this mystery man.

An intervention has been staged by Matt, JP and Cole to help get Ace on the straight and narrow, sober and back on track to start writing and recording for the band's next album. When Ace see's Stephanie, he is captivated and of course agree's to try meditation lessons. The banter between Ace and Stephanie is contagious, I really enjoyed seeing the carefree man come alive in Ace. During these moments he forgets the memories that haunt him and just lives. Katia Rose wrote the chemistry and connection between our hero and heroine beautifully, I really grew attached to them and quickly becoming engrossed in their love story.

As Ace and Stephanie get to know one another, they both seem to provide the strength the other needs to conquer their demons. Until a connection they didn't know they shared breaks it all apart. This section of the book was a stark contrast to the feel of the story so far and this shows great emotive writing from the author that shows the emotional damage is destroying Stephanie and Ace as both a couple and individuals.

I found Your Echo a more captivating read than Your Rhythm. I am sucker for characters with a deeper back story. Perhaps because I knew the band's history so far and was already invested in the Sherbrook world, I could just get sucked into Stephanie and Ace's story. The writing was well paced, the characters felt real and very easy to relate to. I especially appreciated how dance was as engrained in Stephanie, as music is to Ace. The moments that Stephanie was in her dance bubble were descriptive and I was completely swept away with. Katia Rose really got across the prevalence of dance in Stephanie's life and just added another tick in the soul mate for Ace box.

Overall for me I think Your Echo went from strength to strength, the story grabbed my attention from the start, held it and left me wanting more from the Sherbrooke world.

I received an ARC of this book form the author and I voluntarily reviewed it. Thank you Katia Rose!

This author guys... She is a gem. She has become an author that I will read anything she publishes, because every single time, I am taken by surprise by how GOOD her books are. I always have the nagging voice in my mind saying, this trope has been done over and over again and it might be cheesy, and Rose ALWAYS makes that voice shut up with her awesome words. She takes a classic story and turns it into something unique.

There is the perfect amount of sweetness, angst and sexiness in this book. The characters will capture your heart, Ace will make you either want to swoon, hug him, or strangle him, and you will fall victim to his story in the most beautiful way possible.

Not only is the romance A+ in this novel, but the attention to detail to the culture of the setting is commendable. The author truly captured the essence of Montreal. Of its cultural diversity, its tensions, and complexity.

So, once again, Katia Rose has knocked it out of the ballpark!

Ace and Stephanie take broken and make it beautiful, as does Rose with this novel. The second standalone in the Sherbrooke Station series lived up to every expectation I had, and then exceeded them. I loved the push and pull of the two MCs, the will-they/won't-they tension that keeps a reader on their toes and constantly turning the page. Ace and Stephanie's personal demons are balanced by a wonderful tenderness that they show each other - and the other people in their lives - and I was rooting for them both as individuals and as a couple from the very beginning. As for Rose's writing, I was as enthralled by her ability to write passionately about music in this novel as I was in Your Rhythm. A definite must read!

Really interesting story with up and coming rock stars set in Montreal, Canada. While this could be set anywhere because rich folks vs the people who clean up after them, it's the struggle to overcome childhood trauma. With many layers these characters deal in different ways until fate puts them together.
I really enjoy this group. Hope to read more on them in the future.

In this second installment of the Sherbrooke Station series, the band is back from their European tour and still looking to sign a manager.   After Shayla was pushed out the band has struggled with Atlas records and are deeply regretting signing with them.  No one struggles more than the bands front man Ace.  He feels like he is losing himself and turns back to alcohol.  Missing meetings and practices, Ace has everyone on edge and the band in jeopardy of being dropped from the label.

Stéphanie has a dark past.  One that has haunted her for her entire life.  She turned to meditation years ago to deal with the darkness that threatens to take over.  Meditation has helped her so much, that she volunteers to teach others.  When her path crosses with a sexy, hot, dark and brooding rock star, she can't help but wonder what his end game is.

When Ace and Stéphanie meet and their worlds crash together, they find there is more to their dark pasts than they realized.  Can the fragile relationship they have formed survive the darkness?  Will these two ever see the light?

Then-in my childhood-in the dawn

Of a most stormy life-was drawn

From every depth of good and ill

The mystery which binds me still

I loved this book. After reading the first book, I was interested in seeing what Ace's story was all about.  I have to say his story broke my heart.  I can't imagine what he must have felt like growing up with no one to help with the pain and terror he suffered.

Stéphanie's character has just as many flaws as Ace.   She suffered a traumatic experience when she was ten.  This experience shaped her whole life.  She acted out in many ways that painted her in a dark light.  With the help of mediation and teaching dance, she was able to turn her life around.  But did she really heal?

Together Stéphanie and Ace were perfect.  She melted into him and the sexual chemistry, even though dark was hot and off the charts good.  Ace describes her as a lantern in the story.  Soft and beautiful on the outside, hot and burning on the inside.

your echo teaser

Overall this book was amazing.  Katia Rose is building a wonderful world with her characters at Sherbrooke Station.  Each one unique in their own way, but easy to love.  Her books flow nice and smooth, from one to the next.  Never giving the readers the feeling they are missing something.  Her stories are drawing you in and you don't even know it.  This one especially drew me in with its dark and kinky ways.  I felt this story down to my toes.  I really enjoyed the trip I took with Ace and Stéphanie.  I am sure you will too.

You don't have to read the first book in order to enjoy this one, but I highly recommend it.  Otherwise the characters may be a bit hard to understand their stories.  So if you haven't read book one, then I suggest you do now.

I Voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book!

I won't spoil the story but I will express my love for this author and her beautiful talent at writing and creating a story that is unique and sets itself apart from any other love story or rock love story out there. Katia is a true master at her gift and it is shown throughout the pages of each story she brings to life

Ace Turner is the lead singer behind the talented rock group known as Sherbrooke Station. Along with Matt, Cole & JP , these 4 are not only talented but got the looks behind the cover. Matt's story is shown in the first book that tells a story of the background behind the band. However, Ace's story is about the man behind the mask as their lead singer. Every one has demons and monsters, if you don't then you have yet to live life or its true meaning. This story is about a man who hides his pain (and 80% of the time it works) and writes lyrics that turn into creative art through sound. He thinks he's living life and getting by until he is faced with questions surrounding his effort and the amount of time he chooses to actually be present. Then one day his band flanks him and pressures him to attending a yoga and meditation session that actually lights his world in fire and forces him to come to terms with the life he living and not the life he could have. His instructor turns out to be a puzzle that he hopes to unravel. However, sometimes puzzled are trickier than they look on the outside.

Stephanie Coultier-Herbert is busy as a bee. She buzzes throughout her days as a studio teacher at a ballet company, grocer and yoga instructor. She barely finds time to sleep and visit her mother, let alone have a regular single girls life. She prefers to stay busy and not think about her current state of life and the past she is trying to outrun. Get life might not be glamorous, but it's good enough for her and entirely better than her previous life. Until, meeting one man that will change everything. And sometimes change is a hard pull to swallow and an even harder to comprehend. Ace Turner turns out to be more than meets the eye and she will have a true awakening in her life that will leave her and Ace questioning they Why.

Absolutely loved this story! Katia is always bringing more to the table and more to the heart. This story will leave you in appreciation and love.

Katia Rose has an exceptional talent for story-telling. A couple times during my reading I had to stop and take a break to really reflect on the incredible dialogue and purposeful word choices. My absolutely favorite part is the little taste of the French language strewn throughout the stories (mostly curse words, but I still appreciated it).

If you read the first book in the Sherbrooke Station series, Your Rhythm, you'll be surprised to hear that Your Echo is even better! How is that possible?, you might ask. Well, it is. Your Rhythm was a beautifully told story about two competent, capable people. Your Echo is the story of two people finding themselves through each other. I loved the humor and banter between Ace and Stéphanie, especially the way Stéphanie continuously put Ace in his place. Strong women for the win.

Ace was a stark difference from Matt--from Your Rhythm. He oozes charm and danger that attracts women like flies, women like Stéphanie. He isn't your typical rock star though, or maybe he is--depending on what type of rock stars books you read. Stéphanie isn't the type of woman you'd think would fall for an alcoholic lead singer of Montreal's most popular band. I loved her personality and the way her dirty mind competed with the innocent look she put out to the world. The two of them together were totally explosive.

Really, anyone who can appreciate good writing, insane chemistry, and lots of cussing will find Your Echo to be a captivating tale of what happens when opposites attract. You don't need to read Your Rhythm before the second book, but I'd recommend it simply because it's such a fabulous series and you'll understand some references a lot better.

I love rockstar romances. I was in a mood for a nice rockstar romance and when I saw Katia Rose - who I'd read in the past and quite enjoyed - was looking for reviewers for her new rockstar romance, it was a no-brainer to sign up and I'm so glad I did!

I really really enjoyed Your Echo.
It starts off in a strange territory in that Ace... Well. He's a right dickhead. However, he's an interesting dickhead and you instinctively know there's more to his behaviour than meets the eye and as the story unfolds and more and more of him is revealed you can't help but fall in love with the guy along with Stephanie.
Stephanie was a cool character. She's French-Canadian - which I hadn't encountered much in books before - and a dancer with a serious chip on her shoulder due to events in her childhood.

Basically, Stephanie and Ace both have issues and were two halves of a perfect, broken, whole who felt destined to find each other. They needed each other. They made each other stronger. Better. More.

The story is one of healing, forgiveness, and acceptance told through the lives of interesting characters with smoking hot chemistry.
With a great balance of angst and humour, the author kept me turning the pages, absolutely hooked.
The writing was such that the characters felt real.
I was sucked into their world, I walked their streets, felt their feelings, listened to their music and wanted to dance.
It was beautiful but, as I said, real and a bit gritty and imperfect.

I cannot wait to read more of this series!
I particularly loved Ace's bandmate JP... He had a Mal (from Kylie Scott's Stage Dive series) vibe to him - well if Mal was French-Canadian - and had me in stitches!

Your Echo — a review
BIRDIE O SEPTEMBER 14, 2018 0 COMMENTS

Katia Rose asked me to do a review of her new book, Your Echo. This is book 2 in the series, but you definitely don’t need to read the first book (though it is now on my TBR, for sure). This book was excellent and I look forward to reading the whole series. The depth of emotion that Rose managed to convey in the story was astounding. There were no reactions that seemed out of place or over the top, despite how extreme they were. The struggle of both Ace and Stephanie to deal with a single event in their pasts was so real, the reader is able to truly understand why they do what they do. Rose makes sure to lead the reader right where she wants them before the big reveal. By time you reach that point, you’re pretty sure you know what is going on, but it doesn’t matter. The choices Ace makes when he gets to the point that HE knows what is going on are both heartbreaking and so warming and redeeming. This is a romance that really hits every soft spot a person has.

Rose doesn’t gloss over the struggles of mental health. She doesn’t make her characters magically better with time. In fact, the characters’ struggles in the story are directly related to the fact that neither one actually received mental health care in their pasts. This is probably the thing that I applaud most. Rose’s handling of mental health (including non-military PTSD) is real, but also sensitive to the fact that this is a serious and difficult issue.

I highly recommend this book, as it’s more than just a romance. Katia Rose is a gifted storyteller that has made it to my “favorite romance author” list.

It’s release day for Your Echo! This is the second standalone installment in my first ever series, which made writing it even more nerve wracking than usual, since I was determined to craft a story that would live up to the first book. Once I really got going, though, Ace and Stéphanie’s story completely won me over, and I can’t wait to share more Sherbrooke Station with the world!

Your Echo leans more into dramedy territory than any of my previous rom-coms. There is both light and darkness in this story, and I found myself really being drawn into the hero and heroines complexities and the contradictions they both had within themselves. This is a book about two people struggling to overcome their demons and fight for their futures by coming to terms with their pasts. Writing it left me filled with so many different emotions, and I hope readers are able to experience all of them while getting to know these characters themselves.

Of course, the whole Sherbrooke Station gang makes many appearances too. Getting to spend more time with them was ridiculously fun, and made me even more excited to finally dive into JP and Cole’s stories. I loved writing another book set in Montreal, and having the chance to infuse this story with the unique flavour of a city that means so much to me was a definite highlight.

A huge thank you to all the readers giving Ace and Stéphanie a shot! I hope you fall as head over heels for them as I did :)

Stephanie is a meditation coach and ballet dance teacher. She should still be a dancer, but choices were made that changed who she is. What saved her is meditation which is what brings her back to the AMM or the Societe de Meditation de Montreal. The AMM certain doesn't cater to the rich and famous, let alone give private lessons. Yet, Stephanie does exactly that to the lead singer of Sherbrooke Station and up and coming alternate rock band that is putting Montreal on the map. The only reason she knows about this band is her fan crazed roommate, Molly. Molly tells her everything about the band including how much of a partier Ace is. That is a lifestyle she left behind a long time ago. She can't deny the attraction she feels for the rocker.

Ace Turner is the lead singer of Sherbrooke Station and on the verge of losing everything for his band. One too many benders which by the way, they encouraged before the European tour, but now not so much. It's either go to meditation sessions or rehab. No way is he going to rehab for something that he controls. Besides after Matt drags the entire band to a park meditation session, Ace had a writing break through. He's suffered from writer's block for months. The label wants them to record in a matter of days. The song is unfinished. After going to the park, Ace stays up all night writing. He wants that clarity again.

Can he find that clarity while maintaining his distance and attraction to Stephanie?

Did not disappoint even though the romance was too much for me

I can’t demote stars just because I hate romance. I will admit that the purple blush staining my cheeks while I read all the over the top romantic moments in this book had me skimming through a few pages but all in all I really liked it. I like all these books so far and all the guys. I picked up the first one as a freebie and immediately preordered this one as soon as it was announced. I don’t speak French so the switching between French and English is something I struggle with sometimes because I feel like I’m losing some of the jist of what’s said, but that’s not a flaw in the book or the writing but just my reading style. I am sure by book 3 I will have the hang of it and can read back and enjoy the books more. Honestly I’d really recommend this series to anyone who likes girl + band romance with some real gritty characters and reality in there. There’s nothing fake about any of the characters or their problems. They feel like real people and I love it. Well done honestly 5 stars well deserved.

Ace isn’t the source of my pain; he’s possibly the only person in the world who can truly understand it. He shares it, and for the brief time we were together, he made me feel like I could overcome it. He’s a tie to my past, but I’m starting to believe he could also be a key to my future.

I was so excited when Katia asked me if I wanted to read the second book in The Sherbrooke Station “Your Echo”. This book is about their frontman Ace. And I feel like there’s so much more to Ace that meets the eye. I loved the banter between Stéphanie and Ace. And I love their relationship even more. They both have secrets of their pasts and Ace has a BIG one. If y’all haven’t read this book yet definitely do!

How do you teach a rock star to mediate? The number one question in Stéphanie’s mind sounds like the start of a really bad joke, and life would be a whole lot easier if she actually knew the punch the line.

When Katia asked me if I’d be interested in reviewing her latest book, I was apprehensive at first because it was tagged as a romantic comedy. I am currently obsessed with reading romance books but I’m looking for books packed with “heavy” themes. At the end of the day, I am still a reader hunting out for the difficult and sensitive topics. Nonetheless, I took a chance on her story. To my surprise, it is more than the rom-com genre it was tagged.

That plot twist? I never saw it coming. Now, I want to read Your Rhythm just to see if it’s as good as this one. It’s a good story. Read the book. The boys are funny, their banters are witty. Ace is irritatingly charming. Stéphanie is equally intriguing but I’m hooked on knowing more about Ace. They are good together but I enjoy the scenes between the band members. I have a circle of guy friends and I see the similarities with their dynamics. It’s cool reading it in fiction.

When I read Your Rhythm I was truly blown away as to how much the book had spoken to me. I’ve always had a very special connection to music, ever since I was a small child, and that connection really made my connection to this series so much stronger. These books have truly MOVED me! It’s often that I say that I devour a book, but these books have consumed me. Your Echo may have consumed me even more than Your Rhythm.

I loved everything about Ace and Stephanie, their connection was so special. I also love that we got to see this new side of Ace, and we got to see more of the band. There were so many little pieces and glimpses we got to see of the band that really made us understand the members better. I loved seeing more of each of them, especially crazy JP. I was really curious to see how the dynamic of the band would be after Your Rhythm and we really got to see that. We got to see how they are truly a family.

I cannot wait to see where Katia takes us next

Yassssssss 💃 💃! ACE IS HERE!!
If you've read book one, then you'd be familiar with the guys of Sherbrooke Station.. Man, those guys rock my dreams 😍😍.. Katia Rose brings out my inner silly fangirl with every page turned. Her writing is down to Earth, yet captivating.

In Your Rhythm, with dark clouds looming over his past, Ace was portrayed as quite a trouble maker. I was so looking forward to his story and was not disappointed. I was already familiar with the SS, so it was quite easy to get along with their tune.

Stephanie is a free spirited dancer and mediation coach with troubled and tragedic past..

Fate brings these two together and they try to mend the seal broken because of some troubled past. The way they fall hard for each other is quite captivating. Until a connection brings it all back to point zero.

Your Echo becomes my new favorite read of 2018. The story grabbed my soul, held it and left me craving more for Sherbrooke Station..❤️❤️

Your Echo is book 2 in the Sherbrooke Station Series and each book is about a different band member in this book we catch up with Ace who needs to prove to the groups record label that his last bender was really his last so he signs up for meditation classes and ends up having private sessions with Stephanie. Stephanie didn’t sign up to give private sessions to the rich and famous after all she has her own issues to deal with so the last thing she needs is to babysit a bad boy rocker ........or is it
I really enjoyed the hilarious banter between the band members and this author manages to get the perfect mix of angst and humour in this book . Sizzling chemistry, banter that flows and just the right amount of angst made this a great read. Looking forward to seeing where this author takes us with the other band members.

After reading the first book in this series (Your Rhythm), I was excited to read Ace's story! Ace and Stephanie meet in unusual circumstances - when his bandmates take him to a meditation session in the park.

After going on another drunken bender, Ace finds himself in need of an activity to better himself, to ensure the record label won't drop the band. He chooses private meditation classes with Stephanie, rather than therapy. They grow closer as they spend more time together, but both Stephanie and Ace have occurrences in their pasts that haunt them, which could either bring them closer together or push them apart, when they come to light.

I enjoyed reading this story! The characters in this series are complicated and really just living their lives (not entirely happily), until love is unexpectedly found. I look forward to reading JP's story next!

Omg Ace Ace!!!! Okay once again you start the book thinking great another bad boy rocker.
Ace is so much more then his bad boy title.
This book really pulled back who Ace is. He was raw and I loved it. The first book in the series made me u sure if I would love Ace.
Safe to say I fell hard for him.
I was rooting for him throughout the whole book.
Then we have Stephanie who has had a hard time of life. Through meditation she found herself. She breaks Ace open as well as herself!
The two of them together were just a perfect combination.
We learn that they have an unknown history which broke my heart for both of them.
Together they pick up the pieces and become the best versions of themselves
Bring in the next boy lol!

This is the first book Ive read by this author. I didn’t realize this was actually the second book in a series but since the books can be read as a stand-alone I didn’t feel lost. It does however make me want to go back and read the first one which I will

Your Echo was a beautifully well written romance about two people trying to deal with their own past issues and how fate was able to bring the two of them together. I loved Ace and Stephanie’s story.
I felt she did a great job with creating a unique storyline that was very entertaining, definitely held my attention. The book was fantastic.
I can’t wait for the next one.

Received ARC and gave my honest review

3.5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐💫
Ace and Stephanie had an overall intense relationship, and this includes their nights of passion! They both had pasts they'd rather forget, but as they got to know and trust each other, those deep buried truths began to make themselves known.

The story started off on the slow side and it took me some time to warm up to the main characters- and really connect- but I did eventually click with them.

While I did enjoy book one more, Your Echo did have a good mix of sweet, steam, and a little added drama. If there is more to come from the boys of Sherbrooke Station, I'd be interested enough to read their stories.
