This book was very short but very informative. I learned a lot about ways I can start to journal. I've been in a slump when it came to start a journal and I think this will help me.
This is a quick little book with ideas for journaling. The author provides 112 (there a bonus one after 111) ideas for journaling reflection. I've done gratitude journals and this book provides some ideas that start some thoughtful reflection and potential goal-setting. I think I'm going to use some of her prompts to start some of my journal writing. I used to create prompts for students when I taught writing and she has some very insightful prompts that I look forward to using for my writing.

This short book of writing prompts is far better than I expected.
Most free books on Amazon are sub-par. They're bland and unenjoyable. However, when I read Kalmbach's list of writing prompts, I found myself highlighting over and over again. I want to delve in and explore her ideas. I could spend hours journaling just from these prompts.
I highly recommend this ebook to anyone struggling with inspiration, boredom, or a sense of unsureness in what to write about. I'm looking forward to trying out many of these wonderful prompts put together by Kalmbach.
If you're looking for an introspective piece that you can go back to whenever this is a good book. The prompts range a variety of topics and think pieces that allow you to truly consider/run into barriers you are setting for yourself or have accepted as true. I personally will be using this as a daily journalling exercise to release thoughts/help me process emotions.

There's really good writing prompts here. Author is gentle and caring and got straight to the point. Worth the read and highlight several prompts to journal with!
Some of them made me think and want to cry which made them hard to use. I don’t open up easy especially to my own spouse. I would use this when I’m ready to completely open myself to my own self.
