If only they can convince her she can do it.

Roshia is a woman who feels she has nothing to lose. She has already lost her family. When she finds a group of survivors, she works with them to fight back against the evil Princess who has seized control. She also finds men who are destined to be her mates and give her the strength to take on the battle. It will take all her strength to win this battle.
I enjoyed this fantasy book featuring a reverse harem. The fantasy aspect is interesting and there is lots of action. There are surprises you don't expect. I enjoyed learning more about the men she is so connected to and wish there had been more time for them to explore those feelings.
One women, in a multi-boy universe! In Roshia's case, multi-men universe, 3 hot ones to be exact.
This book not only had the four characters relationship building to epic proportions, but it was filled with SO MUCH Action and Adventure. You won't be able to put it down till the very end!
This wasn't a short story by any means, there was just enough information to satisfy you and leave you happy with it all in the end.
Now, I'm not gonna say I don't wish for more, because again, like I said "EPIC"! But, it finished smoothly without me wondering anything, and everything was explained and tied up in an epic bow!
I 100% recommend this epic tale to you, especially all you RH (Reverse Harem) lovers out there.

Crystal Hollow is under control of the evil princess Crystal who has turned it into a land of ice. She keeps a cruel control over the Hollow with her dark magic, her mindless familiars, and her blood drinking malum. Roshia is the last remaining ice fae other than Princess Crystal. Roshia and her family have lived on the run for years, always hiding, trying to stay one step ahead of Crystal's darkness. Finally, their luck runs out and they are captured. Roshia wakes up in a dark cell, alone, her family is all gone. She manages an escape and heads to the rumored rebel camp with revenge on her mind. Instead, she finds the possibility of love. The rebel camp is led by three men, Nate, Landon, and Cyron. Roshia calls to them all as her mates. Fate has plans for these four. Roshia may be the hope all have been waiting for to end Crystal's reign. To do so, she will have to learn to trust again; trust in herself to not turn dark and be powerful enough to challenge Crystal, trust in the guys, trust that love still exists.
I thought that this book started out strong. The world building was excellent, Roshia's character was firmly established from the beginning. The premise and action were all good. The guys all had defined, mostly likable characters. Then it became a disappointment. The relationships were based on the fae calling, but never went beyond that to feel like a true connection. Cyron and Nate both had previous serious relationships that seemed deeper than the quick bond with Roshia. Cyron acted at times like he didn't even want to be near her, yet she seemed to "reward" him the most. Landon, the male that stood out the most to me was largely ignored. The relationship that seemed the most true and refined was Roshia's relationship with her brother Taegan. The side characters provided mixed feelings. Roshia's family was wonderful, yet her father was diminished under Crystal's control and there were questions about her brother's loyalty. Martha, Landon's mom was wonderful, but Cyron's sister-in-law Soora was horrid. The second half of the story felt rushed and underdeveloped. It jumped around as a story and details were never adequately given. It needed much more detail. And the ending was too, too much. I love a HEA, but not to the point of losing all believability.
This is my first time ever reading a reverse harem story. While I found this to be a enjoyable and entertaining read I have mixed feelings about it and this is why. I absolutely love Roshia's character she was strong, fierce, and even though she broke down a couple of time she was relatable. I also like the guys a lot too they were likeable characters. Then it kinda went down hill from there. I know there relationships was base on a fae calling, but I felt like it never went beyond there to make a true connection. Nate & Cyron both had serious relationship that seemed deeper prior to meeting Roshia that made there bond to her seem in significant. I wonder at time if Cyron truly felt anything for Roshia he acted like he didn't even want to be near her, yet Roshia favored him more. I kinda figured she would be more drawn to Landon, he stood out the most to me but he was ignored completely. I was also a little confused about Roshia brother Taegan you could tell at the beginning of the book that they had a really close relationship I loved the close knit connections she had with her family yet her father was diminished under the evil princess Crystal control and there was speculation on the loyalty of her brother Taegan. Yet there wasn't any explanation on what the princess said if it was true or not. The last part of the book felt really rushed it needed more details I loved a HEA like anyone else but not to the point of losing all believability. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no minority compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.
I have become a fan of Lia Davis. You can bet with one of her books you will have a, can't stop reading until it's done, adventure with a memorable heroine and sexy alpha men. Marked by Darkness is one of them. We start off with Roshia and her family, always on the run. When they are ambushed and captured, Roshia fearing that her family is dead, escapes to the North Mountains. And it is there that she finds her purpose. Not to mention three sexy men Cyron, Nate and Landon who feel The Call to bond with her. Now Roshia and her men set out to reverse the evil that has befallen the hollow.
Marked By Darkness has a main character that thinks she has lost everything, only to find that she has found her destiny. Three men who will do anything for their Love, and may I add who are perfect for her. I loved their dynamic and how they grew together. With tons of action and an ending that left me very happy, don't miss out on this stand alone in the Dark Fae Hollows series.
I voluntarily offered to read and review this ARC. All opinions expressed are my own.
This book can be read as a standalone, which I did. I really liked the story and characters, especially the heroine and her guys have depth. There is an instant connection between them because they are mates but I loved that they got to know each other at first without immediately having sex. I only gave three stars for two reasons: I didn't like that the heroine had sex and started giggling shortly after being attacked and having one of her mates missing and others dying. Also, even though I LOVE happy endings this one felt too unbelievable and rushed. Suddenly everyone that was thought dead or lost was there and well with too implausible explanations.

ARC - I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest! Roshia saw each of her family turned into a dark creature. On the run, she meets w/ Landon + Nate + Cyron. Together, they try to stop an evil queen from destroying their world. At the same time, they also learn to navigate this new relationship. It will be a first that one girl "mate calls" to three guys at the same time. They will need to learn to share + to work together. That is the only way they will defeat the evil queen. I like the storytelling. The ending was a little surprising. I love the twist in the end.
Interesting! A complete story for 18+, with a HEA and no cliffhanger.
I enjoyed the story a lot. I liked getting to know Ro and her men. It was fun learning about their various fae powers and how they work together. This addition to the series was a welcome one. I look forward to reading more books in this series and will be checking out the author as well.I This was a complete story, no cliffhangers. If you are sensitive to sex scenes or multiple partners then this book isn't for you. It should be 18+.
Marked by Darkness was the first book I've read in the Dark Fae Hollow series. I usually don't like to pick up a series from the middle, but this truly read as a stand-alone novel, so don't be afraid to try this as your first journey into this world. I very much enjoyed this novel, which had a very epic and fantasy feel. Roshia is a pretty fierce female lead and is well matched with her protective trio of hero's. If you want a fun fantasy romp with a happy ending, this would be a great book to try.
I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is the 1st book I’ve read and reviewed for Lia Davis and it was absolutely fantastic, even though I’m starting at book 8 of the Dark Fae Hollow series it’s a standalone but I need to start reading book 1. I won’t be giving any spoilers because Lia gives you enough in her blurb to give you a feel of this book. This is a Reverse Harem story and I love these kind of books especially when there’s a strong heroine and even stronger males. Fantastic read, great characters and I highly recommend this book you won’t regret reading this book.
Marked by Darkness is the 8th book in the Dark Fae Hollow series, but can be read as a stand alone. Marked by Darkness is full of magic, romance, action and adventure. I like Ro, She is strong and resilient. The guys are supportive of her and each bring something to the relationship. I do think that Landon gets over his suspicions rather quickly and the ending seemed to be resolved too easily.
I received an ARC of this story and voluntarily and honestly reviewed it.
To be honest I went into think thinking it was a continuation of the last marked book. Boy was I wrong! I absolutely loved the guys they all seem so sweet!!! She is just a hot mess! In a good way! I hope there is a continuation of this story!!! I would love to know what happens next!!
Rochia is the last good ice fae and after her family was taken from her she went to the North mountain village. Hoping they could help her save her family . Meeting Nate, Landon and Cyron changed all of there lives this was a great book I could not put it down
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. I freely leave this honest review. This is a great read. The world building is first class. The diversity of beings is so unusual. Loved the ending!
