#RWWR is the story of Gayatri whom we met in both the first books. She’s the spoilt NRI daughter of billionaire businessman Dutta. There’s no love lost between father and daughter. Her only friend in the whole world is Nikhil Chandel (hero of #WMRE) who treats her like a younger sister.

When her father insists that she goes back to Amsterdam to wed the man he’s chosen for her, Gayatri panics. Nikhil’s wife Sneha and her best friend and business partner, Nandini go to her rescue. They get her a job as Operations Manager at a science lab where their respective husbands have invested a lot of money. But it also happens that the lab is headed by a mad scientist - Dr. Viraj Dheer.

Viraj is tall, dark and handsome. But then, he’s also eccentric. He has already dismissed four Operations Managers from the lab in less number of months. Will Gayatri be able to cope?

The romance weaves around both these characters.

What I liked best was the way Gayatri’s character blossomed under the author’s pen. The woman who appeared as a vamp in Nandini and Aditya Sarin’s life, transforms slowly in the pages of this story.

And Viraj - mwah! The mad scientist is totally endearing and I fell in love with him along with Gayatri.

The love scenes between the two of them sizzle and were a joy to read. I enjoyed reading the book as all the side characters played their roles to perfection.

All that said, I have a small peeve. We reach a point in the story where we know that Viraj and Gayatri are crazy about each other. But they are apart since there’s some issue. At this juncture, I wanted to know more about their feelings. But the story turned towards Nandini and Sneha here.

Yeh Dil maange more of the interaction between the protagonists.

I had read Varsha Dixit's Right Fit Wrong Shoe more than 5 years ago and since then I didn't get any chance to read other novels that she published in between. I finally laid my hands up on her latest release named "Rightfully Wrong Wrongfully Right". The cover page of the book is very appealing which might result in the sales of this book. When I read the 1st book by Varsha Dixit, I got very confused as I was new to fiction reading and remembering the multiple characters just tired me as a reader. Comparatively, I found this book very sort out and easy to read. The characters are nicely built though few of them aren't used the way they could have been like Aditya’s.

Varsha Dixit’s narration is very simple and she does not believe in complicating things for the reader. Right from the first chapter, you will find the series of the scenes and sub-plots well organized which makes pace of reading faster and gives the reader momentum. The characterizations are well done as I have mentioned in the first paragraph itself. The biggest hurdle for this book has been its predictability. A reader, at every step, will understand what is going to happen next. And too much time has been spent in things that should not have been described that minutely and descriptively.

The love angle is beautifully managed except the predictable part. I also liked the initial few chapters where Gayatri is trying to be comfortable with a character with which she has bad equations because of something she tried to do to spoil her married life earlier. The recovering phase is also narrated nicely after Gayatri got attacked by few men on a dark road. Overall, this book is a light read which can be done in a sitting or best, carries with you while traveling. I give this predictable story an average 2.5 stars out of 5 as it has nothing new to deliver but is still a time-pass read.

Thanks.

I haven't read any book by Varsha Dixit so Rightfully Wrong Wrongfully Right was my first read from her. It came recommended and I have to admit I took my time getting to it. I'm just going to come out and say this. I was pleasantly surprised my how much I enjoyed the book. I practically flew through the book, easily flipping through the pages. It was just such an easy and engaging read for me.

So Rightfully Wrong Wrongfully Right is the story of Gayatri and Viraj. Let's start with Gayatri. At first, Gayatri comes off as a spoiled rich girl blowing off her father's money. But soon we get to see the real story behind her facade. I always love a good redemption story and Gayatri completely redeemed herself by the end of the book. We could see that she had some nasty history with the remaining cast of characters but she makes up for it. Gayatri was a strong, independent woman with vulnerabilities.

Viraj on the other hand has had a horrible childhood with an abusive father. He learned soon to shield his real self from the world and portray only what he wanted. Viraj is what others like to call the Mad Scientist and he is definitely a workaholic. But he needs Gayatri's help for his social life and they both soon strike a deal. I liked Viraj and how he cared for Gayatri in his own way. Viraj was also very helpful as a person and we got to see that.

I liked the way Viraj and Gayatri's relationship progresses. First they start off by trying to benefit off of each other. Then they turn into real friends and soon they are falling hard for each other without them realising it. Gayatri and Viraj may look like total opposites from the outside but they were more alike than you may think. Plus they both were actually quite compatible as a couple.

Along with Gayatri and Viraj we also get to see the couples from the previous two books. Nandini and Sneha are two meddling friends but their hearts are always in the right place. I have to admit after seeing the couples I am curious to go back and read the previous books to see how their stories went. Varsha Dixit's writing is truly engaging and well paced. There were a few errors but they were negligible. Another thing to note is that this book has generous dashes of Hindi. Some may not like that but I think it made it authentic for this book. Overall, I enjoyed Rightfully Wrong Wrongfully Right.

I have read Varsha’s earlier book Only Wheat Not White last year and quite liked her writing style. So, without a second thought, I picked her latest book Rightfully Wrong, Wrongfully Right. It pulled me in right from the first chapter and I finished reading it one evening during a train journey.

If you are looking for perfect hero or heroine – you will not find them in this book. Both Gayatri and Viraj have very evident character faults, but as the story progresses, one gets a glimpse of their real personalities. They are absolutely two different individuals from different backgrounds who meet and start off on a wrong foot. The build up between Gayatri and Viraj is by no means rushed and it adds to the intensity of the book! I kept turning the pages in anticipation of ‘Will they? Won’t they? But how?’

I loved the banter between Sneha and Nandini, it was laugh out loud in so many places. Although it was a bit over the top at times. Yes, even the secondary characters in the book have a prominent role in the story.

The story's fast pace and well-developed characters make this book a fun and easy read. The titles of the chapters are interesting and apt viz The Crazy mad Scientist, Desperado, Country Wants to Know, Pimp I am, I am Dismissed to name a few.

Towards the end, when one is keen to know ‘How they are getting back together?’, the spotlight is on the life stories of secondary characters and that was mildly annoying.

Though the characters of this book were part of Varsha’s earlier two books Right Fit Wrong Shoe and Wrong Means Right End, which I have not read, Rightfully Wrong Wrongfully Right works perfectly well as a standalone novel.

As I read the last sentence, I had a goofy smile on my face and let out a little sigh of satisfied pleasure.

Rightfully Wrong, Wrongfully Right is a light, fun, breezy and romantic read to dip your feet into. Go on and pick it up!

The Story
The old vamp from Ms.Dixit’s previous books revisits in this one as the main protagonist. Gayatri is some character. You will either love her or hate her[which I doubt very much] but I’m sure you cannot ignore. She will grow upon you with all her tantrums and the firebrand that she is. Ms. Dixit continues to enthrall her readers with her lively characters.

Viraj is a scientist and Ms. Dixit introduces him as the “The Crazy Mad Scientist”. You meet a man who is totally dedicated to his profession and has no clue where his love life is going. When he meets Gayatri for the first time, let’s just say that they start off on a wrong foot. What happens, after that is a series of hilarious incidents that showcases every facet of their characters.

The weaknesses…
What I loved about this novel is that Ms. Dixit has been very generous in showcasing not only the vulnerabilities of the protagonists but also highlighted them. While in one scene Gayatri comes across as a very strong woman yet it in another she is not ashamed to showcase her weakest point to Viraj. Viraj on the other hand, instead of ridiculing Gayatri, protects her. That is one of the sweetest moments of this novel. Though as a romance reader, I found it initially very hard to digest the weakness shown regarding Gayatri but as I read on I felt that I could connect with her as a woman. Her fears, her anxiety all were part of her yet she would overcome these to fight for her dignity and rights. A thing every woman should learn to do.
The spices
How can you expect Ms. Dixit’s novel not to have a lot of masala in the form of Shreya and Nandini? The longtime enemies of Gayatri become the pillars of support for her in this novel. And the best part was this change did not occur overnight but in small incidents and in between a lot of teasing and tears in such a way that they all came together beautifully to showcase some beautiful friendships. For example, the scene when Gayatri’s parents could not understand her, it was these friends of hers who stood beside her.
What I liked about this novel:
The life that vibrates amongst the characters is so dynamic that you could almost feel yourself being a part of that conversation. The love story between Gayatri and Viraj is so subtle and yet you could feel the chemistry sizzling on the pages of this novel whenever they were forced to be in the same space. Ms. Dixit has understood love in its purest form. It is not always about sexual encounters nor the racy dialogues that make the reader understand the burning chemistry between two characters but in the tonal quality, in the vibrations they project through their thoughts and speeches. These are enough for the reader to know the intensity of love between them. In this case, the incident when Viraj was supposed to have rescued Saba but …that is such a sweet moment.
What I did not like
This becomes a bit tricky for me here. As a woman, I could relate to Gayatri’s predicament as she dealt bravely with the Romeos yet her weakness ‘flowed’ out of her in front of Viraj. For a moment I did not want to read further for I was afraid that it I not like her, for as a romance reader I didn’t want to know this part of romance. but I’m so glad that I did. You would have to read it for yourself to know what exactly what I am speaking about or a spoiler alert will be raised here . [ but do harness the wandering images that your mind is forming right now. Tsk…Tsk…] And believe me this incident makes Ms. Dixit one honest writer.
Reason for the star rating:
Her way of writing is very happening. The jokes will keep you laughing all the time and this book should come with a fair warning that if you are in a serious situation do not read it for the sudden spurt of laughter it would invoke inside you, might get you into some trouble.

I had been waiting to read this book, ever since I read the first two in this series – Right Fit Wrong Shoe and Wrong Means Right End. And of the three, this one stole my heart.

This story is of Gayatri Dutta, who has also made her appearance in the first two books and is known for her ruthlessness, if I may put it subtle. From being a villian to now a protagonist, I was keen to read her side of the story.

Gayatri is young, witty, spontaneous, brave but also rich. Her father Dutta, a billionaire businessman aids her financially, but also picks on her, humiliating and leading her to a state of low self esteem. Her only solace is Nikhil Chandel, who cares for her as his little sister. Nikhil is married to Sneha who is best-friends with Nandini. These three, along with Aditya- Nandini’s husband/Gayathri’s ex makes a close-knit team. As Gayatri tries ways to break free and stand on her feet, her father decides to marry her off to a rich groom of his choice. Due to Gayatri’s ghastly ubiquity in their lives in the past, things seem a little awkward at first, but Nandini and Sneha plot to help Gayatri to be an independent woman.

And thus enters Viraj, a workaholic, cantankerous, non-socialite eccentric scientist who is now Gayatri’s boss. His troubled childhood is what makes him put up a callous exterior but Gayatri finds the kind soul in him. Sparks fly but she needs him as she tries to fend for herself. A sweet lass Sana also is now part of the game and fits in this love triangle.

Whoa!

Let me start with the book cover. Such a pretty thing- with the bright red color, those little hearts, wine glasses, champagne bottle and cupcakes! It is designed to attract one and all. The chapter titles? Hilarious, to say the least! How can an author name her chapters as Monkeys and Manuals, Asswipes or Pimp I am! That in itself brings about a smile, doesn’t it?

I loved the crazy mad scientist, Viraj and the quintessential vamp-turned diva Gayatri. Their chemistry is splendid and it is an absolute treat. This isn’t just a mushy romance . A genius scientist with a troubled childhood and a rich girl struggling to break free doesn’t seem like a match made in heaven. But the author has executed it so well that you ease into their lives as the story unfolds.

Of course, Sneha and Nandini has a pivotal role and their bond is something we all would want in life. The easy-going best-friends are indeed soul sisters that one can even complete a sentence before the other speaks it out. I loved their girly talks, the gossips and they make the perfect duo.

There were many instances were I couldn’t control my giggles and laughed out loud. The dialogues are an important part of the story, be it between the best friends or Viraj and Gayatri. The language is smooth and the writing brilliant. I so wish this story makes it to a brilliant Hollywood RomCom.

Do I Recommend? Seriously? Is that question even necessary?

Rating: By the excitement with which I’m reviewing this book, you would by now have guessed how much I loved it. It’s a shining 5 stars from me.

“Rightfully Wrong Wrongfully Right” by Varsha Dixit is a nice read. It is full of moments of laughters, surprises and twists & turns which keeps the reader amused.

The character Viraj is very uniquely plotted. He is introvert most of the times involved in his work yet another time can be seen passionately into sex.

Story @ “Rightfully Wrong Wrongfully Right”

Viraj is a crazy scientist who is bored with his life- as nothing new was happening in his life!

Until Gayatri steps into his life to get him hook with Sana. The story gets very interesting from here. It gets studded with many light moments.

Gayatri is a brave girl. She is funny yet witty. Will Gayatri be able to get Sana fall in love with Viraj?

Will the story have a happy ending?

Or Gayatri will mess up all the things?

Best moments @ “Rightfully Wrong Wrongfully Right” by Varsha Dixit

▪ “Everyone has more downs than ups. All it takes is one big successful “up” and all the “downs” are ancient History”.

▪ “This is how you fight, a kiss on the cheek?”

▪ “Why fight small battles & lose big wars?”

▪ “Thank you! I could not have done this without you all”.

Eh! Filmfare award speech!, Nandini teased.

▪ She could make money off cutting ribbons.

▪ “If you are trying to open the door telepathically, let me be the first to tell you it is not working!”

▪ “This paperweight is a reminder of my past. A reminder of why I have to succeed”.

Life lessons @ “Rightfully Wrong Wrongfully Right” by Varsha Dixit

▪ Entrepreneurship is always not about ideas many times it’s about the innate skills you have. Remember, the cupcakes?

▪Trust people but always allow for an “element of doubt”. Viraj kept few more CCTV cameras & that made his life easier but who knew it will? But the point is it does.

▪Everything can be re-built. Believe in time. It can make enemies friend & friends foe.

And the best esp. for women as Viraj said, “whoever provides for you, decides for you.” i.e. take financial independence seriously!

It's a great book. Must read!

Note: This is the third and final book of a three-book companion series. A companion series is not a continuing series, which means that each book can be read as a standalone. And while these books do work as standalone reads, a fair amount of common, interconnecting threads run through them, which might be lost on people who read only one of these books. Which is why, it might be better to complete the trio, especially if you are someone like me, who needs to know everything about everything.

My Review: This third and final book Rightfully Wrong Wrongfully Right revolves around the love story of Gayatri & Viraj, and this one is my favorite of the lot, which is surprising even to me, because after I read the first book, and got familiarized with the characters, I read the blurb of the following two books, and when I got to know that the third one centers around Gayatri, I was very skeptical. Like really really skeptical.

Mostly because, while I can tolerate relatively unlikable main characters in other genres (Case in point - The Girl on The Train); in romances, I absolutely need to like the protagonists, and be able to root for them. And I did not like Gayatri very much at all. I mean, she was tolerable in the first book, but in the second, she was right up there with the most undesirable characters. Read full review

My first book by Varsha Dixit was Xcess Baggage, and I really liked it! And, I'm waiting for the sequel.

The book starts off well. I liked the character of Sneha (Better than the last book where she was the protagonist) and her bond with her husband, Nikhil, and best friend, Nandini (She was the protagonist in the first book of this series). I liked the way their relationship with Gayatri (Which was not good in the last book) develops. The way they encourage her.

'Everyone has more downs than ups. All it takes is one big successful up and all the downs are ancient history.'

The little twist about cupcakes was nice, and it made me smile!

But, I didn't understand the character of Viraj. Showing him weird in just one scene doesn't make him mad. This needed to reflect, but it doesn't especially when the book opens with his introduction. His character and his chemistry (and the development of her relationship) with Gayatri lack depth. However, the backstory of Viraj is nicely done and seems convincing.

Considering that this book is author's fifth book, the writing is not as crisp as it was supposed to be. There are unnecessary descriptions and dialogues that don't advance the story. The chapters have names but, they are mostly meaningless. There are several editing glitches, which is disappointing as this comes from a big brand like Rupa Publications.

Overall, for me, it was an okay read. If you like Varsha Dixit's writing, if you like love stories, and if you have read the other books in this series, then you should read this book. It can be a nice travel partner.

The cover is BEAUTIFUL. The silver hearts, the chocochip cup cake, the champagne glasses and the background, all seem to reflect the emotions of the book. The plot is simple, but there is a love triangle. The characters been beautifully built (this is the same for all the books in the trilogy) and even the protagonists of the previous two books have a role to play in the story. I loved the way Gayatri and Viraj keep sparring and how Viraj feels he has to keep pretending.

The language used is simple and so is the narration. The author has given a simple, yet, complete gist of the two previous books. I read this one four months after the previous two, but believe me, I felt that it was only yesterday that I read the previous ones. The book is fast paced, making it an easy, breezy read. The descriptions are detailed and beautiful.

I loved the way Gayatri keeps her hobby secret from everyone only to reveal it when the time comes. The suspense built is cute.

I loved the entire series and am feeling a little lost as there nothing to look forward to in this series.

Or maybe, Bees saal baad, when the five kids grow up…………………..

Rightfully Wrong Wrongfully Right Book Review by Njkinny

Read the complete Book Review on Njkinny's Blog

OMG! What a book this is! I absolutely LOVED IT!

I have read and enjoyed Varsha Dixit’s romance novels in the past, and this one is no exception.

A rich, spoiled Diva and a genius, eccentric Scientist people call “The Crazy Mad Scientist” find true love in this steamy, fun, and engrossing romance with witty banter and complex characters with hidden depths…

This book came as such a surprise to me and I absolutely adored the protagonists especially Viraj. Then it was so fun revisiting beloved characters from previous books, “Right Fit Wrong Shoe” and “Wrong Means Right End“.

The settings, characters, and emotions are all so relatable that I instantly connected with the story and stayed engrossed throughout. Also I adored the witty banter between Viraj and Gayatri with their burning attraction for each other. I cried my heart out. Felt enraged on behalf of the protagonists who have faced so much injustice and cruelty at the hand of their family. And then jumped in joy when they found their happiness.

All in all, I absolutely adored this romance and Njkinny recommends this emotional romance novel to people looking for an inspiring, hot, emotional, and thoroughly engrossing love story. So, 4.5 out of 5 stars to this gorgeous love story from me.

This book is the third in the series, which starts with Right Fit Wrong Shoe. I have just two words to describe this book - Simply Brilliant! Why? What's so special about this book? The way Varsha has etched the protagonist's character. Already appearing as a less desirable character in the first two books, as a reader one will not know what to expect of Gayatri. But, hats off to Varsha, she has done absolute justice to the lead, making the reader root for her as soon as we get into the story.

That an author can make a reader feel disgust and anger for a character in a book, and make the reader root for the same character in a subsequent book is nothing short of brilliant. I don't think many writers have done it, and as a reader as well as a writer, I am stumped!

This book was more emotional, tugged my heart a little more and I genuinely wanted Gayatri to have her own love story with Viraj. A definite read if you are Varsha's fan (I am)!

i had high expectations from this one!
having read the earlier two and being impressed upon,i quickly did a pre-order for this!
but i can't say i really liked it.
i had hoped for a bit of disclosure on gayatri,as to why she wanted to marry aditya? and what exactly is the deal between sir dutta and her?
i really didn't get the answers much.
as for viraj..why such a stupid con?and sana..seems so forced.
the story a lot of times felt too fast paced.
all in all...gayatri & viraj don't hold the same magic as sneha & nikhil or even nandini & aditya!

The final part in the series brought a bit of a disappointment to me in the sense of an immature story line. Even though I was not a fan, I liked the characters in the second book, and the layers of Sneha and Nikhil, made me hoping for so much more from this one. The only thing that kept me reading was the character development of Gayatri, the best part of this book. I could feel her change from a shallow person to this amazing, strong, and kind girl. Other than that, the story didn't feel appealing to me, and was getting dragged after a moment.

2.5 stars!

What I appreciated most about this book is its portrayal of modern relationships, acknowledging the challenges and complexities that individuals face in today's world. The story encourages readers to reflect on love, forgiveness, and the importance of communication in maintaining healthy relationships.

This book is a must-read for contemporary romance lovers seeking a blend of passion, heartache, and personal growth. Varsha Dixit delivers a compelling narrative that stays with you long after you've turned the last page. Highly recommended!

A wonderful book....I haven't read earlier books of this series but this can be read as standalone too...there is reference to other book of series but writer has given the idea as to what had happened in previous books. Writing is smooth, characters are well defined and strong. There are only few books that can be re-read and Varsha's books definitely fall in that category.

I really enjoyed the last book in the series. I was happy that Nandini and Sneha as well as Aditya and Nikhil were part of the last book. It was nice to read what happened to them and the book still be about Gayatri.

Interesting way to find the right way ..

Gayatri evolves through the journey while the scientist finds himself being normal. It is important to listen to your calling and do the right things even at the cost of being Wrongfully Right..

Today is the last day of the Valentine’s Week Reviews event. The review for today is of a book from a well-loved series by Varsha Dixit. Her books bring a Bollywood flavour to the books that I am irrevocably in love with. I have read this series thrice and the love for the stories only increases with every page turned.

Despite the various dark themes in the book, Varsha Dixit keeps us entertained with her speciality of dialogues that make you burst out laughing.

Viraj and Gayatri have a slight Enemies-to-Lovers thing going on, which is very spicy. Their story deals with the real world more closely than the previous books. It’s like the author was slowly bringing her readers from a dream world to reality before going ‘Hasta La Vista’ for the series.

Happy Reading!

I made the mistake of picking this book up, without reading the first two. Although I liked the banter between all the new characters and the old, some of the past stories or inside jokes carried no significance to me. It was enjoyable and the chemistry between the leads saw it through with a good suspenseful side story made it a fast read

Bollywood style romance with 'masala' intact!
A dashing but unlikely hero and a perfectly tailor made heroine, a villain from the expected turf and skillfully crafted side heroes and heroines make the perfect plot of this romance. A light hearted read with characters whom you identify with makes this an entertaining story all the way!

Touch, dab and dash
The story has all the essential components of a beautiful rom com. It will be awesome to see the characters from the book play out on the big silver screen. Beautifully written and executed, this story of love does not stifle you with mushy love from the beginning till end. It has a significant touch of friendship, a dab of comedy and a dash of chemistry in it, making it a light hearted read. “We just saw the biggest transformation of the century. T-rex has turned into a panda and you are not going to discuss it?” Nandini gestured. Lines like these would really catch you off guard and might actually you laugh out aloud.

Magnetic charm
The author has so wittily headlined each of the chapters. It's noteworthy to mention that one of the reasons the book becomes unputdownable is for its catchy chapter names. Despite intending to, you can't take a break between one chapter and the other because the alluring headings of the chapters are bound to attract you further, just like a magnet. What with names like ‘Moscow Mules’, ‘Selfies’ and ‘Smoking Marijuana’, who would not want to delve deeper into them.

The story
Though from the very beginning its evident who the hero and heroine are, the author has very craftily plotted the story in a way that the reader finally yearns for the protagonists to be together, be in love, accept it mutually. Viraj and Gayatri's character sketch has been done very neatly, clearly explains why they tend to like each other. The rich apparently spoilt girl matching up against the eccentric genius of a scientist who had a troubled and poor childhood is an unlikely combination. But the author has executed the story so well that they don't seem like a square peg in a round hole. In fact the chemistry between them is also so subtly described that in the readers’ eyes they both fit in snugly with each other. They are brought together because of the common link Nikhil, whose sibling like relationship with Gayatri is very endearing. In fact the author has done due diligence to even the sub-plots where Aditya and Nandini’s relationship is concerned or Nikhil and Sneha's relationship for that matter. The story will surely touch a chord somewhere. Except for the fact that it was predictable, I loved every other aspect of it. But then again with romance comes predictability to a certain extent.

Three cheers to friendship!
The bonding between the girls Sneha and Nandini is surely going to keep all female readers entertained throughout. They can identify with each of the sentences spoken between the duos. But as the story plays out, one will know that it's a friendship with depth that is on display here. Each of the characters are genuine about the relationship with their friends. “They stopped at a red light. Nandini reached out with one hand and touched Sneha’s stomach and then with her other hand she touched hers. ‘You and me! Sneh!’ ‘What?’ Sneha studied Nandini’s face and then her hands and their positions. She blinked.”
The story closes on a beautiful note too. The image with which the author leaves you, is surely going to make you smile thinking of how the characters have matured. Though I am tempted to, but I will resist the temptation and not get into the detail of the beautiful closing chapter.

Socially relevant
What I liked best about this book was that the author has tried to convey a social message as well through her work. Usually romances just deal with emotions like love, passion and the like, but in this story the author has touched upon the sensitive subject of domestic abuse, molestation and in each of the incidents she has shown how strong willed women can stand up for themselves and give it back. They need not always be the meek helpless victims, no matter whichever strata of the society they belong to. If women want to, they really can do a lot about their emancipation.

Would I recommend this book?
Of course I would, even better to see it as a movie.

The line that stayed with me
“Under Viraj’s tender gaze Gayatri felt like a dark damp room suddenly flooded by warm and healing sunlight.”

Cover- The cover of the book has an image of a girl and the guy. The lab coat signifies that the guy is a doctor but our notions are proved wrong when we come to know that he is a scientist. The red colour scheme looks just perfect for a romance novel.

Title- The title is the part of Right Wrong Series which the author started and it covers two more novels under it and yes, they all are intriguing. The Right Wrong actually grabs our attention and the author knows where to hit. The story revolves around this and its simply awesome.

Blurb-

Love is in the air again…this time it’s steamy, bold and manipulative!

Gayatri and Viraj both are products of childhood trauma. Yet they were able to survive, one because of her shrewdness and the other because of his genius. Rightfully Wrong Wrongfully Right, the final part in the best selling ‘Right and Wrong’ love trilogy is the story of these two damaged souls.

Gayatri Dutta, the poster child for rich spoiled diva is fighting to escape a life of servitude her tyrant father is hell bent on pushing her into. Her past string of failures have her backed against a wall. Lonely and desperate!

Viraj is a con who uses his genius to perpetuate his isolation. His life once of violence and abuse has left him cynical and cold. He shuns the society and its hypocrisies.

And then Gayatri and Viraj cross paths. She needs him and he despises her.

To Viraj, Gayatri, is the epitome of all that he despises, shallow, manipulative and the kind who uses her beauty as a weapon. Or is she?

Gayatri sees Viraj only as a means to an end. She is sure that Viraj with his nerdy demeanor, owlish glasses and crude behavior will be easy to manipulate and walk over. Only he isn’t!

PLot- The plot is beautifully woven and it binds the readers till the end. The way Gayatri and Viraj’s journeys are shown is mind blowing.

Themes- I could sense themes of love, friendship, brotherhood, motherhood, woman as a hero. These themes help in the progression of the novel.

Characterisation- Firstly I would talk about the guest appearances in the novel. We have seen Nandani (our Sethani) and Sneha in the previous novels, still their appearance was an icing on the cake. They are my personal favourites and I love their childish talks, gossips and the way they help Gayatri in becoming an independent woman is worth appreciable. They are natural characters who appeared in the story and makes it more interesting. They have their own stories and Nandani’s behaviour gives the readers a loud laugh. To add more humour, Aditya and Nikhil are the perfect duo. They spice up the story in the end and we all have a hearty laugh.

Gayatri is a diva and has been a vamp in the previous series but this time, she is the mouthpiece of the author and I could sense her connection to her. This is true, everyone have their own story so this little vamp also had. She has been under repentance mode where she realise her follies and tries to move on. Things are bit awkward infront of Sneha and Nandani but all the things take a new phase when these two duo plans to help her. When she falls for Viraj, she is in a state of tabula rasa. These two come to her rescue.

Viraj is a strong, cranky, workaholic man who is a non socialic person until he meets Gayatri who is a big attention seeker. His troubled childhood creates problems for him but he overcome them easily and does everything to help his family. He is a kind hearted person and has helped many people. He also undergoes a denial mode but later on he accepts his love for Gayatri.

Style- The language is smooth, clear and lucid. The sentences range from simple to complex. The author has beautifully delineated the point of views of the characters. The cup cakes episode makes it tasty(winks). Further, those kiddish words makes it look hilarious. The element of comedy is the best segment of the part. This book can end up into an amazing comic movie. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I just felt the separation mode being same in all the three books. Maybe that is the key element but more spice could have been added as its Varsha Dixit’s novel. She has done 100% justice to Romance genre and deserves a round of applause.

Opening with a morbid thought of death, the first few lines of story did nothing to encourage me to read the rest of the book. However the red cover of the book with little hearts, wine bottles, cupcakes and a young couple suggested that the story might be anything but morbid!

The blurb and the title did indicate that the story was about how opposites attract but I still did not like the ring of the title...

But read I did and after a slow start, I was hooked. The characters it seems were introduced in previous two bestsellers by the author Varsha Dixit. Since I have not read her earlier two books, it may be the reason I did not take to the characters and dive into the story immediately.

Gayatri, a rich well brought up girl has a domineering father who considers it his right to decide anything and everything for Gayatri. Caught between her desire to break free on her own and her father's dos and dont's, she often blunders in her decisions. Viraj, a young genius scientist works for Gayatri's childhood friend who is more like a doting brother to her. Viraj, having grown up with an abusive father despises violence against women and any kind of weakness displayed by anyone.

From the moment Gayatri and Viraj set eyes on each other, an electric chemistry sizzles between them despite their considerable dislike for each other. Certain turn of events forces Viraj to agree for Gayatri's employment in his laboratory and the two temperamentally opposite people hence onwards often come face to face. In their own ways, each helps the other overcome the personal demons. The attraction is magnetic and intense which evolves gradually into a torrid love story. Eventually all is well that ends well.

However I am not convinced by Gayatri's characterisation. On one hand she is shown adept at Krav Maga, an Israeli self defence technique and on other hand she doesn't think twice before conspiring first against her ex-fiancé and then trying to hook up a lab technician with the scientist. With a domineering father who dictated all her moves, how come she even managed to learn the defence technique in the first place?

Usually when someone involves themselves in martial art disciplines, their mental strength is equally enhanced along with physical defence abilities. What I mean to say is, such defence techniques require a balanced approach to enable a person to excel in them. Whereas Gayatri is nothing like that...she is just a simply rich girl who loves all good things and is weak as far as taking decisions is concerned.

Krav Maga has caught everyone's fancy and many stories by every alternate author that I have recently read have at least one character who is ace in this defence technique. Gayatri and her knowledge of Krav maga seems just that...a fad!

Viraj also could have been anybody, his being scientist has hardly anything to do with the story.

But then this is my outlook and yet I loved reading it. After all everyone loves to read about a girl who can fight eve teasers yet is delicate, beautiful, mushy and romantic. And Gayatri is all that and Viraj is her knight who tries to fool people around him by putting on a devil may care attitude but in reality he is that handsome hunk who is slightly possessive in love and yet very caring.

All in all the book is perfect for curling up with a cup of coffee in a cozy spot to fantasize about a delicious love. This story is the 'Mills and Boon' in Indian setting.
