The XXXenophile Collection #2

The Xxxenophile Collection

Rate this book
The books that started it all. Fun, happy, and VERY X-rated. Unusual for an adult comic, XXXenophile appeals to both male and female type persons. We attribute this to our light hearted eschewing of violence, guilt and other unpleasantness. Showing that sex is good clean fun and can solve many of life's problems. XXXenophile is an anthology title, consisting of lots of short, unrelated stories spanning many genres. From Fantasy to Sci-Fi-fi the only things that they share in common are their humor, originality and sex, lots of sex. The original series lasted ten issues and featured some of the most respected artists in the comic book and science-fiction industries. The XXXenophile Collection compiles those ten issues, some of the decade's best adult comics remastered and reprinted, along with brand new stories with today's hottest artists- as well as the first new XXXenophile material in three years time. For fans of the original series, these volumes offer the opportunity to see this material presented in the highest quality format available. For new readers, this collection is a first chance to read this excellent out-of-print erotica. ADULTS ONLY!

My biggest regret about this series is that it ended way to soon. It's the perfect comic after a long day to both distract and get a laugh out of me that I need to reset the day. The great art is of course a wonderful addition to that distraction. My highest recommendation.

Story: ****
The book is a sexing success. It's funny, interesting, inventive and erotic/smutty but it's not nerdy. Nice! For instance, you have "Demi Demoness" (I just read) and some others begone which fill out the first two characteristics but are total geekville (usually shamelessly), which takes up panel space where good material could reside, and just squeaks lazy. None of that lax action here.

Here you also have all kinds of races of beings getting it between cheeks- which turns out to be an important message that applies to the recent goodwill towards non-binary realm gender identification.

Art: ****
The Fogliorganization has diverse hands inking the pencils of his writerness to their own lineworkisms which breeds an original product borne of relations sexual. It's fun watching the work morph from finisher to finished. Nobody really outshines the field -in part to their shared framework- but none are below average. Many shine. Scintillate. It's especially an endeavor of fluid action... assailing the back-section, that is.

Basically it is like a sister compendium to "Housewives at Play". I love Foglio's art style. I read so much of his work as a child. I suppose I really shouldn't be surprised the guy is an adult. I don't think he has done anything I haven't liked. He has done Dragon Magazine and "What's New" all the way to his girl genius series. I love this guy!
