This book is full of questions for the character Peter. Peter has to choose what is right for himself or what is right for all of humanity. This book is very well written and it has a great plot. Paul B. Kohler has a very creative mind.

This is a continuation of the Peter’s mission to time travel and add few new characters in the second installment. Peter finds out that he will be joined by Julie on this mission. Both Peter and Julie are under constant security by guards and mysteriously other ways. Peter’s relationship with his children starts to improve now that his financial outlook is better and he isn’t certain what the time travel outcome will be.

Peter’s son is a coin collector and finds out information about a certain penny that is rather valuable from 1943. Peter starts making plans to possibly do more than one mission when he time travels but there are roadblocks that might not work out.

The book is very much about preparing for the time travel and waits until the very end to begin the time travel. It’s somewhat irritating to have another big cliffhanger but I’ll be onto the next one because I still want to know what happens next.

I read part 1 when the author gave me a copy. I purchased linear shift part 2 and I was not disappointed. Part 2 gives all the information you craved in part 1. It tells you why and when the time travel will happen. There is also a back story on Peter's wife and Peter is spending more time with his kids which makes the mission bittersweet. You could argue that Peter gained everything he'd been trying to gain by going on this mission in the days leading up to his time travel. The relationship with his kids had improved and he is financially stable. That's all he wanted. There were a few twists in the plot, and a lot of great surprises in Part 2. This book is a must-read! I cannot wait for Part 3 and I'm definitely going to read it when it comes out!

Having said that, oh my gosh am I glad he did! I generally do not do time travel but this series is amazing. I could not put it down! Now I am trying to patiently wait for the third one, but I am dying to know what happened. You will be too! Read this series, you will become part of Peter's family and be completely immersed in the story.
Paul wherever you are, I sincerely hope you are at a desk working on the next one because I NEED IT! Lol

Fantastic book!

I love the way that Paul Kohler has developed this story. It's not only a really good idea, I found myself getting involved with the characters, sympathising with some and loathing others - just the way it should be! In part two, the training for the mission begins.
The suspense continues to build during this second part and the twist at the end along with the cliffhanger means that I cannot wait to read part three. I'm quite sure that when Paul has written parts three and four that I shall read it all again from beginning to end.

Training for the mission to the past has been completed and with mere minutes to go until the shift occurs a horrible triple murderer is revealed and the mission is thrown into chaos. The tension mounts and leaves you with a cliffhanger ending that will have you scrambling to start reading Linear Shift part 3.

Linear Shift, Part 2 by Paul B. Kohler is a time travel story. I gave it four stars. It continues where Linear Shift, Part 1 stopped.

"Michael could feel the goose bumps dance across his skin like spiders attending a masquerade ball. He longed to hear those words. He needed to hear more."

It's about Peter Cooper and time travel. Things aren't always what they seem.

Paul Kohler's "Linear Shift, Part 2" is a cliff hanger. It ends as if there is more to come. When I read "Linear Shift part 1" I thought it was just a tease and there was more of the book coming. Well there was Part 2. Now I'm looking forward to reading Part 3 to see what happens. Paul I have decided you are the best Tease writer of all. Keep up the good work.
Cheers

Second part of what's turned into a four-part book. It's about time travel, and they haven't even jumped until the last line of this one. I guess we will see if it's worth the fuss eventually.

Getting interesting

Is there some way to put it in a single book? I feel like I'm being strung along. Only the 1st book needed to do that.
