For the most part, it's a pretty good book, but... It talks about the importance of readability, choosing the right typefaces and designing for different media, but the ebook is very difficult to read because the typeface is too light. I recommend reading the print version.

Exactly what it says on the cover: a solid introductory textbook to information design. There's a quite of focus on wayfinding design, which I enjoyed.
