On this audio cd, both Meg Ryan and Holly Hunter put up dazzling performances as they narrate four of the most popular children's stories ever told.

Meg Ryan's narration is sweet yet dramatic at the same time, especially during "Red Riding Hood" when she sounds sweet and innocent when voicing Red and a bit intense when voicing the wolf. I also love the way that Meg Ryan gives the wolf a French accent which adds to the creativity of the story. In "Goldilocks," Meg Ryan narrates with a southern accent which brings out the old fashioned style of the story.

Holly Hunter's narration is comedic and creative, especially during "The Three Billy Goats Gruff" when she gives a creepy yet proper tone for the troll and in "The Three Little Pigs" where she gives the wolf a hip accent.

Art Lande's music is brilliant as in "Red Riding Hood" and "Goldilocks" he gives an old fashioned feel towards the music and in both "The Three Billy Goats Gruff" and "The Three Little Pigs" he gives it an upbeat jive to the music providing more attitude in both the stories. This audio cd is an instant treat for both Meg Ryan and Holly Hunter fans everywhere.
