Another fun retelling of a Disney movie. Sully is one of my daughter's favorite stuffed animals right now. In fact, she sleeps with Mike and Sully every night. When I asked her where Sully is, she pointed to her crib! Haha. This book hit all the key moments in the story. I even believed Mike's anger when he found out Sully had cheated toward the end of the book - which is impressive for a 20 page story. The illustrations were accurate. Some of the Disney books we've read the characters don't look anything like the characters in the movie. The bright colors are great for younger readers to keep them engaged in the story.

Not a big fan of this one. :| I didn't like the narrator's voice, and I didn't like the over-simplification of the plot. It annoys me to no end when it's depicted that Dean Hardscrabble kicked Mike and Sulley out of the scare program when they destroyed her scream cannister. She kicked Mike out because although he was very well-read and studious, he wasn't scary. She kicked Sulley out because although he was actually scary, he was too lazy to do the required studying. Hence the two make a great team.
