A lot of this book felt a bit dated like it was written for users who aren't particularly familiar with the standard operation of a smartphone. There were a few scattered code examples and plenty of good screenshots. The writing style is also good, but I found it to be a little too simplistic to be particularly helpful.
Great book for Android UI & Design. Having some experience with Android apps & development some of the information was a bit "same old" but a lot of it was a great reminder of what to do to get it right and reinforcing (or dismissing as poor design) some things I knew.
The most clearly and well written source on Android UI that I've read. Particularly recommended to those who are fairly new to Android and are quickly trying to get up to speed (like me).
