my first php book, borrowed from my boss. Good for beginner also for professional. Sometime i read especially when searching a meaning of some function.
I found this book, helpful, easy and difficult. At times I found myself lost. This didnt help matters as I was torn between whether to go ASP or PHP, and to add to the mix Microsoft was on the way with .net framework.
To be honest it is good, yet dated now. .net is the replacement for ASP and as for PHP, I took the easy way out and opted for Joomla, which proved to be best choice
