When I was little, I received this as part of one of Jon Gnagy's art kits, as a gift. It was the first art set I'd ever had. I remember it was a really good, simple & easy to understand description of the basics of drawing. While I was a child reading it, this isn't strictly a kids' book, but for all ages. It's perfect for anyone wanting to learn to draw (& yes, you CAN draw, if you just keep practicing).

We had this book in our family library, and I enjoyed reading it from time to time as a kid. It helped me to sharpen my skills as an artist, and I learned from this book.
