I don't think this author, nor ALL of the examples she used, pertained to the meaning of, or lived up to what we refer to as...."Cultural"...Many of the programs that have been reported for this book are not what I would consider...cultural..... However, the author does do a good job of ways to reach out to program presenters, community partners, and making sure your public knows and does give you feedback on said..."Culutral" programs.
good intro/overview for someone who might be new to event organizing and programming (also has section on funding/grants) -- has more of a public-library tone than academic/special
