This book is excellent if you are willing to actively implement and use the memory tools presented in it. I personally have not used these techniques nearly as much as I probably could. But I think the concepts in this book could potentially be a revolutionizing new way to studying.
This was interesting. Kind of a good read if you ask me. But it wasn't a major success. Some parts did keep thinking. I could learn so much in my 20's. But I am still curious and it wasn't enough for me.
Wish there was an updated version of this- but overall a really great read! If you are thinking about going to college or already are, this is a great resource to have. It gives you tangible goals to work towards if you are interested in getting a degree quickly or cheaply. Most importantly, it has inspired me to continue researching alternative approaches to 1) getting a great education that will suit my short term as well as long term goals 3) inspire an education that isn't exactly traditional. There are alternative choices- you just need to figure out what you want your lifestyle to look like.
The book that got our firstborn his BA by 19 for just $8K. Worth every penny to buy and read the book if you're a self-motivated student interested in getting through the hoop-jumping of a liberal arts degree in a far more economical way. Our son is on his way to an expensive MFA degree but carries no debt into that program at a brick and mortar school.
An excellent book taking an intelligent, new way of looking at higher education. No longer following the debt-filled norm, try this book and see if you can't come to the conclusion that there is definitely a better way through the four-year, hundred thousand dollar degree paradigm.
