Season 1 (1-46) Counting as season 1(idk if there’s two seasons but from the update schedule maybe….? So I’ll just count as two bc somewhere down the line I missed something somewhere so it’ll all even out numbers wise)
Not going to lie this kind of sucked. It was just light and fun, which is fine, except that it was a very slow start and in the end it Finished in like five chapters, like everything that had been built was just like thrown out there in the last five chapters. The art changed styles like five different times, and not in a good way. So that also sucked. Regarding the pace, someone said that reading this was like sitting on a cold train, and then the last five chapters were like sitting on a bullet train, and I thought that was a very accurate description of the pacing.
Honestly, I didn't like the beginning of the story but later on, it got better and it was rushed at the ending. It had the potential for more chapters.
What would you do if you were Cinderella who returned back in time right before the misery in her life started to get stronger?? Well, our Cinderella dies by the hands of the very Crown Prince she loved because she tried to hurt the one the Crown Prince loves! Yep! Our Cinderella here has been an evil lady who tried to kill others in her previous life.
Thankfully for her, she comes back in time before she was forced to marry the shady Baron thrice her age who would beat her daily. She swears never to go down the path again. She swears to not become the evil woman she once was. To be kind and kinder for the sake of dear life. First step? To not marry the Baron. So, how to fool the Step-mother who wants to force her to marry the Baron when she comes of age? **HOW** aahheemm! Pretend to be lovers with the marquess ofcourse ;)
Review:
It was fun and refreshing read where you can understand from the start who the lead hero is! Cinderella is strong/funny & willed. The Marquess is kinda cute in my opinion. I wish simpler male characters like him came around more often. His character was simple yet complex & with baggage but still soft. I liked how he treated his girl & how he got her to stay with her.
7/10 for the fun story (seriously its funny!) 5/10 for the art (Could have been way better but kudos to artist, keep growing)
**Warning** You might fall in love with Sally! I did. My own cute little Fire Spirit. Reminder Howl's Moving Castle.
1. Woman gets a do over/gets a prophetic book/both (it's a little unclear, to be honest) re: her old life and vows to be less evil in the reborn life. She teams up with the villain of the book to get away from her evil family. They have a fake relationship, and we all know where that leads.
2. This is... a confusing book. A confusing adaptation? The fluff and romance parts are pretty good and very sweet and believable. The worldbuilding and political plotting is RUSHED through with barely any attention paid to it. So you know, one subplot is great. The other subplot is confusing at best and nonsensical at worst.
3. The story starts out fluffy and then tries to be darker and more emotional somewhere in the last third. This does not work very well. They should have stuck with the fluff because honestly, it's a very cute relationship and the FL's baggage is enough to justify internal relationship hurdles. There was NO NEED for a political plot. Shoehorning in the bare bones of one really did the story no favors.
4. tldr; Read the first two thirds of the story and stop where the character enter the academy. Everything after that is largely pointless. Just imagine they communicate and let each other know about feelings/realize their feelings. You'll honestly do a better job of it than the manhwa.
The first two chapters art was great but then it suddenly changed (⊙…⊙ ) The ML looked so much better in the previous art style, damn it!
The story is very similiar to 그녀가 공작저로 가야 했던 사정 1and 프리실라의 결혼 의뢰 1 Pricilla'eui Gyeolhon Eui'rwe 1 but the pacing feels a bit of and and the flow of the story is pretty bad. It has potential and I actually like the concept for the story so will be reading more chapters but I feel like this one will stay as 3 stars story.
So I've read this story before, but DNF-ed it And then when I saw that this was finally completed, I had to try to read it again. It was 60 chapters, but it was torture for me in many ways. I don't mind the art (because it seems like most of what those who read has complained about). I do realise the art is so different from the cover, but I could care less about that. I just can't relate with the plot at all. It was so rushed and the character development was just so bad Plus it feels like there was something not yet solved and it was just too frustrating to read it The only plus side was at least this was not dragged too long
What I hated so much was that, the FL talked a lot about how the ML would meet the other FL and that Carsis or whatsoever so many times. But the meeting was so anti-climatic Just so bad in many ways for me
I thought because I've read too many isekai type manhwas, but I had read this way long before, so maybe this is just not for me
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
first off, i’ll admit that i’m somewhat annoyed by the fact that the art kept switching up every now and then for a while back when i first started reading, but i don’t think i have a lot of complaints besides that. it was a pretty decent story. would’ve liked to see some more emotional depth and character development, sure, and perhaps a ‘cleaner’ overall conclusion, but it’s still good enough to finish, i think. it’s a good thing i’m not a fussy reader, lol. i’m just glad it didn’t drag on forever!
i probably won’t be rereading this one in the future, but i’m still glad i did so now. anyway, moving on!!!
I have been reading lots of manhwas and this is a mashup of Ginger and the Cursed Prince (FL reads about her story and tries to change it instead of her she reincarnating from villainess to support 'evil' character) and she marries a villain whom she should play nice with and will most likely turn him into a love sick puppy... (there are so many manhwas that come to mind but these are similar circumstances: The Villain's Savior, I'll do that marriage). I lots interest quickly and I doubt I'll look back on it.
The Evil Cinderella Needs a Villain Completo 3.5 ⭐ Bueno, me gusto mucho.
This manhwa is easy to read. I like the chemistry between the main leads as they have the same wavelengths. The story is also not that toxic and there’s no unnecessary drama, but I admit that this made the story kind of boring. The art is also terrible and it seems that they art change multiple times in this manhwa because the characters looked different in every chapter.
This is like my 3rd manga about video games and heroines going inside them and I am impress. Not only is it a retelling but its a video game manga (one of my favorite). And the the heroine is changing her story for the better and is not stupid and is being true to herself which is a plus.
I'm a minority because for a lot of people it was very meh but I loved it.
The protagonists of isekai tend to be really confident because of their knowledge but here she is that but yet clueless. I can believe her actions and way of thinking. And she didn't try to break up the relationship no matter what, because of feelings...! Hate that unnecessary drama
The male lead was really cute, also showing both personalities, the past and the current one. I think his development could have been better but it was acceptable.
What made me give it 3.5 stars is the confusing and unprofessional, how of bad taste was the art. We star with a regular pretty characters and scenarios... then it leans towards a definitely basic drawings, then a few times a bit of chibis, and in general a mediocre try of combinations between the last two... I mean... if the person on charge wasn't that talented...??? Or wasn't that experienced?? They should have had someone else! It throws you off quite a bit to see the inconsistency.
Basic, entertaining story. If you feel a bit lazy for a heavy plot this is a good option. I liked it very much.
