A war is brewing, more truths will be revealed, and loyalties must be decided, but Fate's not finished with any of them yet.

Julie and Daniel have weathered many storms together already, but the biggest are still yet to come. With a wedding on the horizon and major life changes headed their way, the couple is tremendously tested. The dreams continue to haunt Julie with eerie premonitions and Daniel is called upon to serve the Lycan Council as a leader in settling the unrest in the clans. Complications continue to escalate as Richard re-enters the picture and tempts Julie while enraging Daniel with his seductive charm. Richard proves to be a vampire on a mission with only one goal – Julie. The turmoil Julie experiences in her confused emotions towards Richard is heightened as she learns more about the man behind the obsession. She finds comfort in the discovery of her mother's family and the knowledge as well as love they provide is invaluable. However, the werewolves are back with a vengeance and a betrayal is revealed that will shake-up the Lycan community.

With every choice made there is a consequence and in the end good will prevail, but at what cost?

The saga continues in this second installment to the kNight series. Ms. Mitchell has a profound way of story telling that is quite poetic. Once again, she takes us on an incredible adventure with mystical beings and spiritual awakenings that enrapture the reader. There are such all-consuming, heart-wrenching emotions tied into this story all seen through Julie’s eyes that will make you want to be her and glad that you’re not. The realities she faces are unimaginable, yet believable in the riveting world Ms. Mitchell created.

Plenty of humorous moments highlight the story. Amongst my favorite is when Casey, in an attempt to bring Julie out of her depression, takes her to a racetrack where other vampires have gathered. It created a fun and pivotal moment for Julie and Richard and allowed them all to seem normal. As a reader, Richard's appeal and allure are undeniable, and I was pleased with the level of focus he received in this story. I look forward to seeing where Ms. Mitchell decides to take his story.

The level of eroticism and sensuality in the story is turned up a notch and not in the least bit unpleasant. With a fast-paced and intense plotline, and amazing characters with a supernatural twist, it’s no wonder this series is highly ranked by so many fan’s of this genre. Sadly, I will have to wait to find out what happens next as the third in the series is not due to release until later this year.

T.L. Mitchell is a phenomenal author with an unparalleled series that has huge potential for the silver screen. A highly recommended must read!

This is the 2nd book of the kNight Series Saga. T.L. Mitchell turns up the heat a bit between Daniel and Julie. Let's not forget the monkey wrench that Richard MacArthur throws into the pot with his attempt to seduce Julie. The book is full of hot passion, romance, and the temptation of a forbidden love.

Fall of kNight is the follow up to Dark of kNight and opens with a spooky/sensual dream Julie is having involving Richard MacArthur, one very sexy dangerous vampire. The dream disturbs Julie but she can’t really say why. Meanwhile, Julie and Daniel are planning for their upcoming wedding and Daniel’s impending induction as the leader of the Lycan Clan. At a party for them they learn of a group of rebels called the Dark Wolves who are against the council and that the council wants Daniel to help fight against them. Julie goes in search of her mother’s past and is lead to a the foothills of North Georgia and the Qualla Reservation. There Julie learns that she is not what she thought she was and Daniel will have to make decisions that will affect all their futures.

This book is much darker than the first book, full of mystical beings and twists and turns, we are taken on a journey that leaves us breathless. Richard’s brother Nathaniel and newly turned vampire Casey (Daniel’s sister) return for the wedding and give us many moments of humor as Casey is learning how to cope with her new status. Heather and Jason come from Scotland once again for the wedding and Jason’s skills as a doctor are put to the test. A new foe, the mysterious vampire Mithras is introduced. Under all the other action taking place, Richard and Julie find themselves time and again drawn together and fight their attraction to each other.

Having American Indian ancestors from the Fort Mountain area (although as far as I know they aren’t wolves) I found that element of the book fascinating. There is a true mystery surrounding the wall on the mountain that to this day has not been solved, the author’s take on that mystery is a good twist. I found myself drawn more and more to Richard in this book and my heart ached for him. Daniel on the other hand, does not come off well and there were times I just wanted to reach through the pages and strangle Julie for putting up with him. I don’t know if it was the intent of the author to make us dislike him, but if it was, she accomplished her goal with me. All the elements for a good book are here, a good mystery to be solved, some great love scenes, humor to relieve the tension that builds at times, scenes that will leave you reaching for the tissue box and an ending that will make you want to read the next book as soon as it comes out. You don’t have to have read the first book in the series to enjoy this one but it will help understand some of the character relationships. I, for one, plan on a pilgrimage to Fort Mountain soon to sit near the wall, close my eyes and listen for the spirit of the people.

Fall of kNight
Dark of kNight Series- Book 2
Author- T.LMitchell
Publisher- Wild Horse Press
Rating- Mature Content 17 or older
Genre- Paranormal Romance, Vampires, Werewolves, Lycans

Ms Mitchell brings the reader forward into the lives of Julie and Daniel, where we left them, after Dark of kNight.

The wedding of the young Lycan couple is looming. But demands are being made on Daniel by his family by the Lycan Council. The Clans are at the brink of civil war and there is a need for Daniel to be their new young leader to bring peace amongst them.

The seductive and handsome Vampire, Richard Macarthur is back, Ms Mitchell weaves an astonishingly sensual dance each time he and Julie meet. The steamy whispers of breathe you can actually “feel”. He wants her like no other, and she is forever swept away by her lust for him with no resistance to his desires….It is he who gives her the information that reveals who she is and who her Mother was. In learning this she and Daniel find out exactly how and why her mother died, and also why her father died as well.

Julie meets her family and learns how her heritage can help Daniel .She and Daniel now will be a strong force to lead their families foward… All are concerned with the coming of werewolves into their town. Many have arrived and they are larger and better trained than before.

Our old friends Nathaniel and his beautiful new Vampire Casey are back for the wedding and some fun…The Salsa dancing party was too fun wait till you read it….Heather and Jason are back from Europe for the wedding and add to the story. Without giving up any spoilers, Jason and his medical knowledge are much needed . A new frightening character is added to the mix a Elder Vampire named Mithras…The Dark Vampire holds the secret of what is hidden at the Fort.

Again, T.L. Mitchell story is fast paced, interesting with many added twists. To compliment this story even more is her great way of description. I can feel drums beating…I can smell the forest floor, the flowery smell of the Vampires and the Sexual tension between Julie and Richard, as I hold my breathe as I turn the pages…

is a great second sequel to her first Novel , Dark of kNight and I look forward to the next book , Dawn of kNight hopefully which I hope will be out soon.

The story line is intricate and compelling. It is told from Julie’s perspective throughout. She has a fresh, mostly jubilant and optimistic, but sometimes contemplative, voice that I found endearing and quite likable. The other characters, as well, were fully described and I had little trouble visualizing their actions in my mind as I read along. This provided a pleasing escape from reality. I am eager to read the next installment and will, most likely, backtrack to read the first book in its entirety so that I can get an even better defined and clearer picture of the world in which this cast of characters resides. Was a really good book, but after reading it went looking to purchase the third only to find it doesn't exist and may not ever exist due to publisher changes. I want to strongly recommend this book but it ends on a little bit of a cliff hanger and with the third book being an unknown I just can't let myself in good conscience recommend it to anyone.

I really liked the first book but then in this book I thought some of it was very predictable and then I didn't get why she kept letting Richard into the house. I thought that Julie was a little less strong than in the first book. I don't think that I am going to read the 3rd book though.

Not as good as the first book, but still an interesting read. I got a little tired of the whole Julie/Daniel/Richard thing. That and Daniel's uber-ultra alpha Tarzan attitude. I get being protective of the woman you love, but he was a little much at times.
