Another wonderful book that can be picked up and read in those short breaks in your day. Each chapter expresses "the art" of some subject of importance in our lives. Giving, getting along, adventure, laughter, reading, success, staying young. . .and many more. Beautiful thoughts that can sink into your subconscious and bring life to your heart and sole.

Some valuable information in this little book. The author signed a copy to my grandfather, Gorton M. Riethmiller.

Written in 1962 but has such valuable information, could be read & applied today - a book that could be read & reread - short chapters about a way to live life day in/day out.

My grandfather sent me this book, and after reading it, it's clear that he lived his entire life based upon the ideals contained within each page.

I don’t usually like self-help, “inspirational” writing. I get more inspired when I read a really nicely-written turn of phrase in more literature-leaning books.

This collection of essays is the happy middle between those two. Peterson combines his own turns of phrase with quotes from his favorite authors to create some truly inspiring works.

This is a great book to read one essay at a time every few days, instead of all the way through, so you have time to digest each piece. I’ll definitely be flipping back and referencing this book any time I need some inspiration.

Wow - What a fantastic book. I read one chapter (which is only 2 pages each) each day to soak each amazing chapter in. EVERYBODY should read this book.

Sound sayings, yet a little soft. Nothing you could argue with, but nothing to fire the soul either.
