Stressed out ad-exec Dakota wandered into Catamount Outfitters in search of a guide for a wilderness excursion. She didn't expect to be greeted by not one, but five of the most ruggedly delicious-looking men she'd ever seen. Not to mention a live cougar guarding the shop.
The Falke brothers have more than just good looks in their genes.

I grew up on a farm. No kidding. I did...complete with cattle, chickens, a passel of kids, and rows of vegetables. So, when I wasn't dodging siblings, feeding animals, or pulling weeds, I was hiding away in my bedroom with a book.
With maturity came love and marriage, and a real understanding of why my parents kept their bedroom door locked. *wink* Now, I've turned a love of books into a sensual journey through the steamy world of erotic romance. Or is that romantic erotica? Well, one thing's for certain, the heroes and heroines have a great time as they fall in love.
As I live my dream by bringing the characters in my mind to life on the printed page, I want to thank my wonderful husband for his inspiration, support and patience, but most of all for letting me hog the computer!
This was a wonderful story about a woman who ends up vacationing at a mountain retreat with her friend and her fiance - uugh!! She decides to charter a hike into the snow covered mountains. That's when she meets the incredibly HOT Falke bothers and their sister! Dakota ends up being guided on her hike by Axel and Falke(the family's pet puma) who just happens to be Axels bother Gunner - Oh, did I forget to mention they are a family of Shifters?? LOL This book was so much fun, especially the interaction between Axel and Gunner(when he is in catamount form) and it was a hot and sweet story of them men dicovering that Dakota is their mate! If you hadn't guessed this story if a M/F/M menage, but very sweet!! I fell in love with these men right away!
I have never read anything before by Anna Leigh Keaton, but I am desperately hoping that she goes on to write the stories of the rest of the Falke Brothers and their only sister, Heidi!!
Dakota's get away vacation starts out not so fun when all she sees is her best friend with her boyfriend making out all the time so she has to get away and what better way to do that than going on a hiking trek into the mountains and maybe meet some one to have a quick fling with before she has to return back to reality of her sucessful career.
When Dakota walks into the Falke Brothers (5 brothers and 1 sister)store, her adventure begins. To begin with she is scared to death when she goes to pet the big cougar cat on the head that she thinks is a statue but then realizes when it moves it is real. Dakota has no idea what the Falke brothers are but she soon finds out when things get Heated up in the cabin. Being loved by two men is more than she could ask for and the erotica is so HOT.
A must read book, the two Falke brothers are comical going back and forth from being a cute little pussy cat to being a man. I couldn't put the book down and enjoyed it so much that I hope the author writes more about the Falke family.
Cover: fitting Rating: NC-17 Thumbs Up: 2.5 Overall: it was okay Characters: okay Plot: girl meets boys, boys fall in love Page Turner: sure Series Cont.? Yes Recommend: Maybe not Book Boyfriend: Axel
SUMMARY I’m not sure about this one. Everything happens to fast and too easy for me. It’s was too over the top unbelievable. I get insta lust. I don’t get insta mate in a matter of days especially when the world building doesn’t suggest that the mate bond works that way. Anyways, I read the second book and liked it more than this one. This one wasn’t bad. I don’t hate that I read it.
A sensual journey set in the world of a Paranormal/Shifter Romance, I could not put this book down! It was fantastic. We've got a great plot, well-developed characters, hot men, and even hotter sex.
FALKE'S PEAK is the first novel in the brand new series Puma Nights, and it's starting off with a bang. We are introduced to the Falkes, a family of puma shifters who run a wilderness adventure store in the rural mountains of Washington State. With two dads, one sister, and six supremely hunky men, the family sure does make a statement. So, when Dakota, a big city advertising executive, comes in to sign up for a wilderness excursion, she gets way more than she bargains for.
Oldest brother Axel is instantly attracted to Dakota but has a strict policy against getting involved with clients. He's going to take her on her adventure in more ways then one. Axel's twin, Gunnar, goes along on the trip but in his animal form to protect them from other predators. Dakota can't deny the attraction she has for Axel, but Axel and Gunnar are not sure she'd still feel that way if she knew their closely guarded secret. When temptation gets the best of her and they embark on a sexual relationship, she has no idea that she's sleeping with two men, and that one of them is in animal form at all times. Unfortunately, circumstances force them to reveal all secrets and Dakota must decide if she can commit not only to two men, but two shifter men, or if she will go back to her life without them.
I'm not really sure where to begin with this review as there are so many wonderful things to talk about. The main characters, Axel, Gunnar, and Dakota were great together. It seemed as if it had been Dakota and Axel or Dakota and Gunnar, there would not have been the same chemistry that is apparent when she's with the two brothers. I really liked the way the relationship developed. It was obvious that Axel and Dakota really got on well outside of the bedroom and that was well established before sex got involved. We didn't get a chance for Gunnar to get involved in the beginning because he was in his shifted form, but it was obvious once all was revealed that he definitely filled a more playful role in the relationship.
The world building in the book was excellent. The scenery during their excursion was so wonderfully descriptive, that I almost wanted to trek out to the mountains myself, it sounded so beautiful.
The Falke family was also a great addition to the story. Heidi, the one and only sister, was a force to be reckoned with, and it would seem that she would have to be, with all those brothers plus two dads with whom she has to contend. I felt more than anything, the family was just that...a family. The fact that they happened to be shifters seemed to be secondary with the love and genuine caring they had for each other being first and foremost.
The HEA was very appropriate and seemed to be consistent with Dakota's character. She's not the type of woman to just fall over men because they had a week of hot sex, no matter what her heart might be telling her. It actually made me like the story even more.
So, a promising to beginning to what looks to be a fantastic new series by Madison Layle and Anna Leigh Keaton. There are a lot more brothers left, so I am looking forward to seeing what the future holds for them.
Boring and predictable about sums this book up. It can be summed up as: Girl goes on vacation, fucks two brothers for 4 days, than goes home. Brothers come get her, take her back to THEIR home. Girl and brothers live happily ever after (so we assume).
There was no meat, there was no developments. Just meeting, grunting, and wallah, love ever lasting. I wasn't impressed with this book at all, however, the actual writing was good. What little there was.
I won't be reading the rest of this series, may not read another book of hers at all. Really pointless, empty calorie reading.
There were a few things that actually bugged me about this book.
1) The emergency transmitter thing that was packed didn't have batteries in it. Why didn't they have batteries in the storage bin?! That seems to me would be one of the first items in an emergency storage!
2) I think the double insemination idea was really STUPID.
Ad-exec, Dakota, was ecstatic about her upcoming vacation with her girlfriends, until one dropped out because she was injured and the other added her fiancee to the mix. Feeling like the third wheel, she finds herself signing up for a four day wilderness excursion with Catamount Outfitters.
Axel Falke is the gude for Dakota's mountain trek, and finding it difficult to keep his eyes, hands, and thoughts off the beauty who is amazing him with her determination and natural ease on the mountain. His twin Gunnar, is also along but in lion form and he wants to shift badly and get to know the woman who could possibly be their mate.
I really enjoyed this one, liked the description of the outdoor setting , everything came together and did not feel rushed. Enjoyed Dakota and her laid back attitude, she certainly had no issue standing up to Axel and Gunnar.
She couldn't believe her eyes. While the rule with clients was "paws-off," both Axel and Gunnar couldn't resist Dakota's seductive Native American beauty and determination. As cold days led to hot nights in the cabin, Axel and Gunnar wondered if they'd finally found a woman strong enough to tame them This book was quick, enjoyable, fun read. It didn't rock my world, and there is nothing that really stands out about it. There was also nothing really wrong with it. I liked it and will probably read the next.
Dakota is tired of being the third wheel and rightly so. The much anticipated 'girls only skiing vacation' turned into her friends’ fiancé tagging along, thereby turning it into a practice honeymoon for the soon to be married couple. Feeling restless and bored, Dakota decides to do a little exploring on her own and after stumbling across an advertising flyer and a local to the area, she makes the journey to Catamount Outfitters. The hike she ultimately signed up for should be a revitalizing experience, but her tour guide sure does make it hard to focus on anything but his backside.
Axel and Gunnar are twin puma shifters and part of a family brood of ruggedly handsome men with one kid sister. While Axel and Gunnar know that maintaining the puma shifter secret is vitally important, they never expected the immediate reaction they have for Dakota when she walks in the door. There will be no exploration of the sexual kind, since Dakota is a client and came to their neck of the woods for a relaxingly adventurous hike through the wilderness with Axel as the tour guide and Gunnar as the puma-shifted guide. Dakota is therefore off-limits, but they didn’t anticipate her attacks of seduction.
If you've heard of twin swapping before, this one takes it to a whole other level. Usually twin swapping is reserved for juvenile fun like switching to ditch certain classes or seeing how long it would take for someone else to notice you’re not really you, so in this story fun is most definitely had, but it’s not juvenile.
The story itself is fairly fast paced and before you know it a few days in a remote cabin with a couple of hunks have just whizzed right by.
Axel and Gunnar along with the rest of the Falke family brood are endearing characters and I wouldn’t mind reading other stories made out for the rest of the family. Among our three main characters, there is a certain level of uncertainty, so it’s sure to keep your attention since it’s impossible to guess who will make what move. They also have their own distinct strong personalities with a few shortcomings, so no one is unrealistically perfect. What I found most interesting was how Axel and Gunnar had never shared a woman before and became jealous of each other’s attentions toward Dakota, but they still knew and accepted the ultimate reality that they would end up sharing one woman as their mate. However, it’s not suddenly obvious to them that that woman would be Dakota.
Although the story was a little predictable in some instances, the author duo took different routes to get to that predictable result so it was still enjoyable. I appreciated that this story is not like most other shifter stories I’ve read. Good start to a new series with new to me authors.
Two sexy shape-shifters, snow and some very hot sex in a cabin, who can ask for anything more, not me. This was a very exciting fast pace read, I just couldn’t turn the pages fast enough to see how it was all going to end up. I love how these authors write their shape-shifters cats and now I want more..… You find hot sex by a ménage trio M/F/M with anal play/intercourse, humor and some action. There is a good connection between these three.
Warning! These shifters give a back massage in their cat forms, so cute!!
Dakota never in her wildest dreams would have expected a vacation like this one. After finding she was the third wheel with her friend and fiancé, Dakota decided to take go on a tour by herself. What happened after she got into a Jeep to leave with the hot guide and the huge cougar was a total different story and a hot one at that because that is not a normal cougar. When Dakota, Axel and Gunnar finds themselves in a avalanche everything changes. Will things heat up more or fall apart? You have to read and find out. I love reading Dakota, she is strong and knows what she wants, as a matter a fact, she is the one who starts the first sex scene and I liked that change of pace.
You get 6 brothers in this shape-shifter family. Two of them will be the lucky winners for a mate in this book and they are Gunnar and Axel. These two have always known they would share a mate and when they find that special someone they would have to reveal themselves as shifters. When it was time for that to happen with Dakota, things just didn’t go as planned and in the turn of events to come they just may lose her. I liked both Gunnar and Axel both has different attitudes. I also loved how both of them shared being the cat.
I also really liked the sister Heidi and the rest of the characters. I would recommend this book to erotic paranormal lovers, especially if you like shape shifting large cats. I hope there will be more books for these great characters.
Why I decided to read this book: I was looking through all the new releases on Netgalley and saw this one and as you can see from the reading the synopsis, it really tripped my trigger. That and the cover I think is pretty neat too.
Likes?......: What really drew me into the story was Dakota. The way she's described you think "fluffy city girl," but the farther you read into the book you definitely start to change your tune about her. I also liked the premise of "modern day" shapeshifters....Especially extremely HOT "modern day" shapeshifters who give one hell of a back rub! Is it wrong that I really liked the internal struggle of Axel and Gunnar? Cause I REALLY did.
The sexual stuff?!?!?!?...Just as HOT as the "modern day" shapeshifters!
Dislikes?......: I don't have very many....I didn't particularly care for the "deception" scene. I did feel that at certain points the story was a little bit rushed. Overall, not too many dislikes.
Overall: I really enjoyed this story. Even with the couple of dislikes that I found in the story I think that this is a VERY good beginning to the author's series. I can hardly wait to check out the rest of the series! Hopefully each of the remaining brothers and Heidi will get their own stories!

I was surprised by how much I liked this one. I loved how the guys were mountain lion shifters and the rules of how they were. I really liked the big family and the business, especially how the store always had a Falke there. When the little girl came in to play with the cat I was giggling.
Dakota was fun. I can see where she was uncomfortable being on her trip. Her solution to avoid it was a good one, especially when it brought her to the brother's. Of course Axel and Gunnar are instantly attracted to her. Seeing them dealing with it had me laughing, especially when you could read their thoughts to each other. I loved how Dakota confided in the big cat thinking it was safe.
I was happy to see they way that they trip was extended and how the guys had to come clean. My heart broke a little bit for the boys at the end and also for Dakota. I can see why she made the decision that she did. I was glad to see the Dads talk sense into the guys and for the ending to be what it was.
Dakota is on vacation with her friend, Carrie and Carrie's fiance. On this trip, Dakota is feeling like a third wheel. Since, she still has quite a bit of her vacation left, she books a rustic five-day get away with a local outfitter. Axel and Gunnar (a.k.a. Falke in his cougar form) act as her guides in the wilderness. Both men are outstandingly sexy. When the trip begins, Dakota thinks she is on a trip with a man (Axel) and a tame mountain cougar (Falke). As time passes, Gunnar and Axel realize Dakota is their mate. They try to hold their attraction to her at bay since she is a client. But, as time passes one of the brothers gives into temptation. The fun truly begins from this point on in the book.
Falke's Peak is a true love story in an exciting, unconventional way. The story provides a great escape for the reader. Anna Leigh Keaton's current tale is cute and fun, yet poignantly emotional! She provides superb escapism for the paranormal reader!
This is one of those books for people who do not typicaly like menage stories. The author balances some erotic scenes with some character building and romance apart from the erotic scenes. The romance is focused upon more than the sex, which as I mentioned, might work better for some readers. So go ahead and read this quick and sweet shifter story for the romance and not for the menage that you were curious about. :)
I wanted to rate 4 stars but my sweetness factor was maxed out and 3 stars is the highest I can go. Maybe it was the scrabble scene where one of the characters spells "lover" and the next person adds an "s" to make it "lovers". Ain't that sweet. Of course, it could have been one of more than a handful of other sickly sweet scenes that did me in.
This is how I like my erotica. It has an actual storyline. Falke's Peake is well written with good character development. The shape shifter premise was interesting. Because the authors did a great job of developing their characters, I believed the attraction between Dakota and the brothers. The love scenes are tastefully written and are pretty hot as well! While I'm not too into the menage story lines, I liked this one. Probably because I believed the relationship. There are amusing scenes with Gunnar in "kitty" form. If all mountain lions could be like him, I'd take him home with me.
Not exactly impressed by Gunnar having sex with Dakota pretending to be Axel but the rest was okay. And yes, simply okay. I never really connected with any of them and ended it just out of curiosity about their life together as a threesome. I also found it all so very bland and easy, specially her mother's acceptance of both Gunnar and Axel. I honestly expected more.

Interesting twist on an isolated family of puma shifters. The story was good and I enjoyed it but nothing to make me rave about it. I will however go ahead and listen to the next book as I did enjoy the charcters. I do with they were more multidimensional. Over all a 3 star read..
Wow! I don't even have words. If you want a book that can warm you up on a winter day then this book is for you! I devoured this book in a few short hours. Definitely hot, steamy, and sinfully good!
Falke's Peak by Madison Layle is a paranormal romance novel that follows Dakota, a stressed-out ad executive who stumbles upon Catamount Outfitters in search of a wilderness excursion. She is immediately drawn to the ruggedly handsome Falke brothers, who run the outfitters. What she doesn't know is that the Falke brothers are shapeshifters, and they are all drawn to Dakota as well.
The story is told from Dakota's point of view, and it is full of humor, suspense, and romance. Dakota is a strong and independent woman, but she is also vulnerable and insecure. The Falke brothers are all alpha males, but they are also caring and protective. The chemistry between Dakota and the Falke brothers is undeniable, and the love scenes are hot and steamy.
I also appreciated the humor in this book. There were several laugh-out-loud moments, and I found myself smiling throughout the story.
Here are some of the things that I liked about this book:
- The characters were well-developed and likable. - The world-building was believable and interesting. - The story was full of humor and suspense.- - The romance was hot and steamy. - If you are looking for a fun and sexy paranormal romance novel, I would definitely recommend Falke's Peak.
this was a surprisingly good read. the story was a bit unusual but clear cut and enjoyable. I'd recommend this book for the paranormal/ shifter lovers. simple and gracefully done.
Dakota thought she was going to spend her vacation with just the girls. She didn't plan on taking it alone. But after one of her friends cancelled and the other decided to bring her fiance along, Dakota couldn't take being the third wheel any longer. A girl can only watch so much irritating lovey dovey gushy mush...you know? So she decided to take her own little vacation. A wilderness vacation with hiking, camping, and all that other out-doorsy stuff. I have to say, I enjoed Dakota's character. She was down to earth, intelligent, and refreshing. I loved that she knew what she wanted and wasn't afraid to be aggressive. I even felt her awe when she was hiring a guide from the Catamount Outfitters, which happened to be a family owned business run by Heidi's family the Falkes. You would think, that Dakota being around sexy male models all day as a profession, she should have been used to see hunky men. But then again, Heidi's brothers, all 5 of them, were things wet dreams were made of...and a girl can fantasize can't she?
Axel, the eldest of the brothers agreed to be Dakota's guide. Falke, who happened to be Gunnar, the second eldest brother in his animal form, went along with Axel and Dakota for their protection. But, neither one of the brothers imagined how they would eventually fall in love with the woman. They appreciated her intelligence, but her strength and spirit more. Unfortunately, they had rules...no hanky panky with the clients. Ha, yeah right! Soon, Axel can't take the temptation no longer, so he and Gunner switch places. Only for Gunnar to face the same temptation...needless to say...Bow chicka wow wow!
Both Axel and Gunnar were strong, handsome, and all alpha males. The only difference was, Axel was the stereotypical alpha...responsible, honorable, and serious. Where as, Gunnar was more practical, adaptable, and more laid back. I also felt at times, he was the comic relief. I really enjoyed the bond the brothers had with each other and the telepathic dialogues they shared. I also enjoyed the inner and external struggles they had with their selves and each other when it came to Dakota.
As far as supporting characters go, I don't really think about Dakota's friends. I mean, although their actions were memorable, the characters themselves were forgettable...Just as well. Heidi however, was the type of girl that everyone was friends with, you know? She was carefree, friendly, and just all around fun. I really would have liked to known her more. Did I mention she was the only sister to the Falke Brothers? It is a shame that I didn't get to know the rest of the Falke family and Dakota's family for that matter any better. I hope that the author will explore them in future books.
Overall, this was a sexy read. It wasn't a complicated plot, but the characters were engaging and the intimacy was sizzling. It was fast paced and enthralling, so much so, that it was over before I knew it and pissed me off, because I didn't want it to end.

Favorite Lines: "“You know, I’ve always wondered what these cats felt like.” She looked up to see Axel and Heidi watching her. “Of course, I’d never dare touch a live one. Are cougars abundant in this area?” That’s when the stuffed cat started to purr.” (p. 18 )
Dakota Tokala needed a break from her fast paced life. So when her friends suggest they take a girls only ski trip she jumps at the chance. Unfortunately one of her friends is injured before they leave and Dakota finds herself on vacation with a soon-to-be-married couple. Determined to salvage her trip, Dakota hires Catamount Outfitters to guide her on a trek through the wilderness.
Axel and Gunnar Falke are brothers, cougar-shifters and wilderness guides. They have one major rule: Never sex-up the customers. But when a beautiful woman enters their store Catamount Outfitters , they find their resolve tested.
Anna Leigh Keaton and Madison Layle have joined together to write an erotic, romance story about two brothers finding their mate. It’s full of sexual tension and emotional turmoil as a woman tries to understand her sexual attraction for two brothers.
My thoughts: It’s hard to review this short story without giving spoilers. It seems pretty cut and dried. A woman gets sexually involved with two men who happen to be brothers. But there is more to the story. The men are shifters who know that when they settle down it must be with the same woman if they are to have children. Dakota, however, doesn’t know this. All she knows is that she is going hiking with a man and his family’s pet cougar. It isn’t long before her hormones are begging her to get it on with the guide.
My main problem: SPOILER!!! There is a moment in this story when twins do what they do best…switch places. I don’t know how I feel about the timing of the switch. In one way it’s exciting, but other hand it’s wrong. And I don’t know how you get over the betrayal. Is it rape when you initiate sex with a man and unbeknownst to you he and his brother trade places? I don’t know. I don’t know how you come to terms or trust a person like that enough to have a happily ever after. The heroine struggles with those questions too.
Overall: I’m not angry that I read Falke’s Peak. It was an spicy and entertaining. It was fantasy worthy and when you are reading an erotic romance that’s what you want, right? While reading the story I was happy. Later when I thought back on it, nothing positive stuck out in my mind. The men switching places is how I identify the tale.

1. Even if you already paid for the trip, don't go when the sub for a sick friend is the other girl's really horny fiance.
2. Don't pet the pretty stuffed Kitty at the local "Outdoors" shop even if you want to be petting the really hot triplets and twins in front of you.
3. When having sex with shape-shifting twins, make sure which shifter it is.
Then go for it.
Okay, you see hot guys at your job,but they are hands off. Then you meet these two really great guys who want you and love you. So, what do you do? After waiting your whole life for true love you get twice as much and you decide to go back to your lonely life full of friends humping their guys? And they let you go? Just get it together guys and girl and get together.
This story goes as expected. The characters are predictable - hot! the plot has a couple surprises. But great holiday reading; sure beats sitting around and listening to your uncle discuss which gas stations have the cheapest gas. And, polyandry means there's always someone to lift heavy objects and do all the stuff you don't want to do.
Here I learned exactly why all camping is not for me. And, I learned a bit about one-weekend-stand bigotry. It's not okay to do the two sexy guys on vacay and then ditch them. Fore centuries we've been complaining when the guy isn't chivalrous . Don't blow it female character, these are nice guys from a nice family and they are great in bed. And odds are, they are litter box trained.
I think most of us (the honest ones) would admit to this being a hot female fantasy. I mean, helllllo 2 men. Well, I digress... in this book, we meet Dakota who's an ad exec from Las Vegas. She goes on vacation with a gf but the stupid friend brings her fiance on the trip, so Dakota feels like the 3rd wheel. She decides to explore Washington's mountains and hires a hiking company. Enter the Falkes. They are a family of shape shifting Pumas and each set of brothers ends up choosing one woman to be their mate. YUM-O. There's a bit of deception on the brothers' part because they don't think Dakota can take the polygamy aspect of the relationship. First off. She is foolish. Why not? If you have crazy chemistry with a dude... or two... you better get you some before the going is gone. You won't be 24 forever my friend...
I have to say, there just wasn't enough nookie in this for me. And that is saying a lot because I typically don't complain about *that*. But for real... if you have two strapping dudes and one willing chick, there should be a nookie scene every three chapters. (Please take note Madison.)
In addition, Dakota seemed attractive enough, but I could NOT see where the brothers found her to be "SOOOOO extraordinary". At the beginning of the book, the brothers kept going on and on about how she was so 'amazing'. (I kid you not.) They would push her to hike farther up the mountain at a faster pace and of course... that made her "sooooo amaaaaazing". *rolls eyes* She didn't cry when they were attacked by a wolf. "She's sooooo amaaaaazing." <---- gags. It was lame. I couldn't even find any connection between the brothers and Dakota. I could only see an attraction on a appearance level. Sorry, but I found Dakota to be an ordinary chick who needed to attack those hot brothers earlier on in the story than she did. Which is probably why her character needed a change of scenery and had to go on vacation to get laid. Essentially, this book was lucky that it had the sexy brother thing going in this book... otherwise, I would have given this book a 1.5 rating.
This is A Flash Of Fiction (capsule/brief) feature review. See the entire post at: Read My Mind
I Liked -- Plot: Falke's Peak is a little bit different than most of the menage books that I have read. Why? Because for a portion of the book, Dakota is only aware of "one" man. The brothers are twins, and one stays in cat form while the other is human. Though Dakota spends time with both, she doesn't know this. It's an interesting take on the "get to know each man outside of the menage" plot point that usually happens. I'm usually not a fan of deception, but Keaton and Layle handle this in a way that I didn't get pushed out of the story, or start to dislike the men for their lie.
I Liked -- Character: It's actually hard for me to choose just one of the characters from this book that I liked the best. The twins were each their own man, and had characteristics that separated them. There was also good conversation between the two about how they felt on the topic of sharing a woman. But, I did like Dakota very much. And, not just for what she stood for: a female character that represented a person of color, where her color wasn't the most important part of the novel. But, also for the gamut of emotions that she expressed. Too often, a menage will (to me) seem to be accepted all too readily by the female, and smex-ing takes over the book. Or, there is too much denial of the relationship, and I feel like saying, just do them already! Two hot men want YOU! FALKE'S PEAK kept me from either of these extremes nicely.
