A new author, liked the plot and how he figured it out. It was rather a challenge for this investigator, and frustrating. Enjoyed and the narration Given audio for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

This book is reminiscent of the old film noirs private eye stories. It starts with a very compelling hook but, unfortunately for me, I just didn't latch onto any of the characters. It felt very dry and somewhat meandering. The narrator did a nice job in conveying the mood of the film noir type story.
