The night their mare, Benny, gave birth to something that wasn't a horse was traumatizing enough, but the two beings who appeared to snatch the baby threw Sarah's world completely off kilter. Centaurs didn't actually exist, did they? She'd almost convinced herself they didn't until the night the golden haired centaur returned and snatched her from her own world and into his.

Neither Teagan nor Chandler had expected to find themselves so drawn to the hoonan they'd captured as to lose their heads, but they quickly discovered it was a matter opinion as to who was the slave and who the master-or mistress.

Carnal for explicit sex, adult language, and situations. Caution! Some material MAY BE offensive! Violence. Menage a trois. Sex with a centaur. Forced Seduction. Voyeurism. Readers be advised—this is a very hot, highly sexual novel with multiple heroes.

This book was not up to the standard I am used to from this author. It seemed unpolished and more of a rough draft than a finished novel. Bits of it grossed me out a little. Also I felt that the world building wasn't well thought out. Plus the names of the centaurs from an alternate dimension were ordinary American names which shows lack of originality.

On Amazon this book is sold as written by Ms O'Connor and Ms Wood. As in the past I've read the first author, I decided to give it the old college try.
My bad.

The book failed as an erotic romance, there was no romance just a drooling woman who "fell in love" because she wasn't mistreated (or something like that). The book failed as erotica. The heat factor was below the freezing line, as there was nothing really erotic in the story nor the sex scenes (more like yawn inducing).

The holes in the plot/idea were pretty big, see the captive women/rape/no rape speeches. The writing sounded totally chunky to me.

Overall, at 6 bucks, my piece of advice is stay clear.

I was really looking forward to reading a centaur/human romance novel as centaurs are on the top of my favorite mythological creature list (up there with vampires, mermaids, werewolves, ect) so I was excited to see something new in the modern romance novel world with this centaur book. Lets just say this wasn't what I was after. At all. I think this book was poorly written and frankly, a major turn-off bordering on mentally disturbing. The child born of the centaur sire was a big focus in this story and while that should have been super sweet it was...sickening. The author had multiple times where the child was present for the sex scenes (sleeping during some, actually listening to one), the child was also spoken to (and spoke with) with graphic sexual terms on several different occasions. I will not be picking up any other books from this author.

I don't know, kinda embarrassed that I bought this one really. The book takes place mostly in an alternate world where Centaur 'shifters' exist. Most of the time they look human but can shift into their half horse forms. The writing style reminds me of Kaitlyn O'Connor, but not one of her better books. I skimmed a lot of boring world info explanations. The thing that bugs me the most is the first sex scene where apparently Chandler is still in his Centaur form. I re-read this like 3 times trying to wrap my head around the logistics, but it still makes no sense. The only thing I can think is that his 'johnson' wasn't where a horse's would be, which is a good thing for Sarah. Still not sure where the rest of his horse's a$$ was though? lol!

Anthology part of Big Bad Alpha: (Christmas Holiday Box Set) 20 Alpha Hero Stories of Contemporary, Military, Shifters, Werewolves, Vampires, Aliens, Angels, Billionaires, Demons, Fae & More

The beginning was a lot shocking and I didn't know if I was going to keep reading this book. But it got better and then got a lot better to the point where I wish it was longer. Great book.

So disappointed! I really like the fantasy genre but this wasn't written well and the story for me was lacking everything needed to make it a good read.

Centaurs/Alpha Men – Interchangeable.

What a cute, quick and sometimes steamy little read this was!
On my first outing with this author, I found the writing flowed easily throughout the pages and the story had a beautiful whimsical quality to it!

We have two totally gorgeous Alpha men, brothers Chandler & Teagan, who just happen to be Centaurs from another world/dimension. They can phase back and forth from Human form to Centaur form at will. This makes for some interesting intimate scenes, the logistics of which are not for the faint-hearted. Yowser!

Our leading lady is Sara, a vet from the regular world. Sara is dragged quite literally kicking and screaming in to the strange and dangerous world where the Centaurs are camped for the harvest season.

This new and sometimes hostile environment is fraught with challenges for Sara as she struggles to come to terms with not just her abduction, but also her growing attraction to the brothers who send such mixed messages that Sara is not sure which way is up! Add to this the reason for her abduction, the cutest little Centaur baby boy named Ayden (son of Teagan and nephew of Chandler) and you have a lovely little romantic tryst with a twist!

The world building is excellent and the character development runs along nicely from chapter to chapter so that the players are well fleshed out by the end of the book.

If you want to read something that is not too heavy and with just a little bit of naughty but nice, give this book try.

I liked it! Four stars!

I decided to give this a try out of pure curiosity. It was one of those books that I knew I probably wouldn't like but it was so out there that I knew I had to read it.

It was interesting to say the least. Some parts were very questionable/disturbing and they talked a lot about rape. More like justified that it wasn't so take that into account.

My curiosity is satisfied and I don't think I would ever read it again.

Erotic fantasy with centaur shifters

This is an erotic fantasy with centaurs and a ménage.

The improper use of quotation marks was prolific and irritating. Please edit this!

An okay read

I have to admit that I was confused at the beginning about the baby being born and it took me a while to untangle that confusion. The ending was better - at least I understood what was going on and who everyone
was. The middle was slightly boring. That being said, this was better than a lot here in Kindle land. It's not full of typos or grammatical errors so that in itself deserves applause and/or recognition.

I kind of liked it, even if it wasn't even close to some great paranormal romances I've read so far. First of all, I had a problem figuiring out what was going on for the large part of the beginning. It was told from centaur's point of view and since he was remembering time when he was drunk and wandered in a world not even his own so it was kind of understandable. Still, after a while I was starting to get tired of guessing just who or what was the mother of Aydin.

Anyway, it was rather typical story with plot mainly pushed forward by mistakes and presumptions caused by miscommunication, or rather lack of comunication. The attitude of Chandler and his brother was bordering on fanatical when it came to their opinion about humans. I understand there was hate between the races, but centaurs were supposed to be a sentient race and it shouldn't be so difficult to figure out that since Sarah wasn't even from their world all those facts and truths they knew about humans didn't really apply? Right?

Now then, if we talk about Sarah, I was really annoyed by her constantly pushing asside every semblance of reason and common sense.

Well, I haven't finished it, but so far, it's just standard paranormal romance. This is not Dark Erotica!! Yeah, she's abducted, but doesn't really mind, since it's for a good cause, etc. I read edgier stuff from Christine Feehan in Memory Game than here. Now if the heroine gets the "full centaur" treatment later on, that could be interesting, but halfway thru- still hadn't got to it.

Spoilers
This book- I just decided to give up. It's got the kind of sex scenes you'd see in Harlequin Romance Blase or temptation. nothing to write home about. And I was annoyed with it's most unrealistic feature- she just up and leaves her life as a vet- a veterinarian where people depend onher, and she has school loans to pay, and her sister has always leaned on her and she just throws it all away to be, basically, a stay-at-home mom to a sickly baby centaur and love toy for two guys. She just seemed to be a woman of bigger desires at the start of the book. Waste of my money, dudes and dudettes.

I wasn't sure if I would like this but I did to my surprise. The beginning is focused on what is happening, not world building. I like sci-fi/paranormal books so was intrigued. The reader puts the world together along with the heroine, which didn't bother me as it was done fast enough to not be irritating.

Events happen quickly and the h is reacting much of the time. I thought that she was mostly realistic. I would have been concerned for my sister faster than she was though. The relationship between the h and H and H was simple and without pesky triangle oh-who-do-I-choose drivel.

I would read this again and will recommend this to those who don't mind menage(only one 3-way). A few misspelled words, the format of the dialogue, and no explanation of some important parts of the world brought this down a star.

Girl who lives in the TWENTY FIRST CENTURY and is supposed to be smart -hah!- is having unprotected sex not with one but TWO guys.

Guess what happens? Yup, that.
Guess how she reacts? "How could this have happened?!" is how she reacts.

Let me tell you, my dear, since you apparently have no internet and grew up in a medieval nunnery. Oh, you didn't? Well, anyway. The man puts...

Overall: Stupid heroine that the author SAYS is smart, too much sex, stone age behaviours that our modern heroine is ok with, three way relationship, creepy child present in sex scenes... yeah, all that. Back to my regencies. My only excuse for reading this: I was curious about the centaurs.

Surprising

I wasn't sure if I was going to like this story at first. The writing seemed awkward in the beginning and Teagan's little indiscretion at the beginning was...unsettling. Maybe halfway through, I was good and into it. So my recommendation is don't give up right away if it doesn't grab you. If your tastes are anything like mine, you might be pleasantly surprised.

Sometimes I really enjoy Kaitlyn O'Connor's (She is listed as an author on the cover, which is why I got the book. I have no idea if she and Raven Willow-Wood are the same person or co-authors) erotic capture fantasy stories, and sometimes they just don't work for me. This one is closer to the, "just didn't work for me" kind. It was okay, but pretty far fetched - even for me.

Weird book, I expect that when I pick up a KO book and I always enjoy how she weaves an unconventional tale. I actually enjoyed this dispite the horse sex. It seems like there are a lot of harsh reviews and I feel like they are not necessarily warranted. You gotta know when you pick up erotica with centaurs you might hit some uncomfortable places.

An all nighter

I enjoyed this book. It kept me up all night long because I had to know what happened to Sarah and her two centaur lovers. Although there was a few times I had a hard time believing Sarah couldn't figure out things as swiftly as I believe she should.

This book confused me. It took me a while to untangle the confusion over the baby being born in the barn and who exactly were the parents. The ending of this book was a lot better than the first half. So I'll just say it was an okay read.

This wasn't written well, and contained a lot of unnecessary crude language. The plot was weak, too and the characters were not relate-able. But, it was somewhat entertaining, so I'll give it that.

For a veterinarian, Sarah was certainly clueless about some things. Even though I may have rolled my eyes a time or two, this story was hot...and good...and just plain enjoyable.
