GODDAMN TS WAS A SLOG. 2 stars cause he was able to put such an insane amount of info into a book, but also this was the most boring thing ever to read.

This book is certainly a thorough chronology of economic thought, although Spiegel places heavy emphasis on certain figures and concepts that don't seem to merit the attention as much as others. It is difficult to stay engaged, the book definitely drags on at times.

This was one of the driest hardest to read books that I have ever read but that being said it was also one of the most educational but that is what you would expect out of a textbook
