Giving in to pleasure may be her undoing...or her greatest triumph.

Centuries ago, Sir Thomas Lynne was seduced by the faery queen Tatiana. He does her bidding while Tatiana’s magic keeps him young. The Surrender of Lady Jane by Marissa Day
Paranormal Historical Romance – July 5th, 2011
4 ½ stars

Sensual and decadent, this radiant and entertaining read heats up the pages as the handsome Sir Thomas Lynne is on a mission to seduce Lady Jane in her dreams.

Sir Thomas Lynne was saved by the faery queen Tatiana centuries ago. He was loyal to a fault. He was tasked by her to seduce a woman named Lady Jane to gain access to her employer, the Duchess of Kent who is pregnant with the heir to the English throne. This baby’s birth had been foretold to cause the destruction of the faery. But what he does not count on is his attraction to the Lady Jane’s latent and wild sensuality which shockingly tempts him to reverse his devoted allegiance to Tatiana!

This story was a surprisingly fast and seductive read. I was enchanted by the beguiling hero, Sir Thomas. He would tempt a saint! His nightly visits to Lady Jane are very intense and steamy. I liked that he was dominant but not over the top and uses all his skills to bring Jane the ultimate pleasure. (I was a bit jealous of Jane!) Although the author packed in many erotic scenes. I enjoyed them so much I wish she had included more!! This book was a pure delight for the senses. The scenes between Lady Jane and Sir Thomas are very heated. I really enjoyed the hint of the paranormal which gave it a mysterious and dreamy quality.

Those who love a bit of spice in their books and enjoy regency-type romances will find this novel a pure delight. It doesn't take itself overly seriously and is the perfect book to transport the reader to a wonderful fantasy world. It felt like a fun and magical faery tale. As a side note, readers who have read the previous book, The Seduction of Miranda Prosper will be happy to know that the author includes prior characters.

Magical and super steamy read. This book can’t be beat for pure enjoyment.
