E tal como a selva, que tem de ser desbastada, limpa e delimitada, também a escola deve domar o humano no seu estado natural, impor regras e fixar limites; cabe a esta instituição fazer dele um membro útil da sociedade segundo regras estabelecidas pela autoridade, despertando nele as qualidades que só mais tarde serão aperfeiçoadas e rematadas ao tomar contacto com a esmerada disciplina da caserna."

تراژدی در باره ی انحطاط سیستم آموزشی.
جالبه که درپایان داستان تنها کسی که عمق فاجعه رو فهمیده و در باره اش حرف می زنه, کسی نیست جز همان شخصی که در ابتدای روشن و امیدوار داستان درباره ی "بی خدایی" هشدار می دهد. (فکر می کنم کل داستان اشاره ای است به نیچه)


Eine Tragödie über die Dekadenz des Schul- und Erziehungssystem.

Es ist intressant, dass am Ende der Einzige, der das ganze reflektiert, ist der jenige der am euphorischen Anfang der Geschichte auf die Gottlösigkeit des Systems hinweist. (man kann hier Nietzsche wiedererkennen.)

Unterm Rad is the kind of tragic read in which teenagers like to wallow.

Like all the great work from Hesse, profound and complex ideas are explored in a simply told tale.

I had to read this book for school and to be honest I didn't expect much. And that's what I got. It was obvious from the start what was going to happen but it took 100+ sites for it to happen and it wasn't interesting. So I think my 1 star is more than enough.

Great story of a boy. Reading felt like to be in that time of Hesse. Probably written from his own experience of his background.
