Fangtabulous is the 4th installment in the Vamped series. The main character is Gina, a vampire who is considered the fashionista of the fanged. The series follows Gina from high school, when she originally becomes a vampire and worked undercover as a teen goth in high school, to working undercover for the Feds. In Fangtabulous Gina, "the fashion queen of the of the undead," is on the run from the FBI, along with her boyfriend Bobby. Gina, Bobby, Brent, and her best friend Marcy wind up in Salem Massachusetts, thinking that would be a good place to hind out. When the local ghosts go on a killing spree, Gina and her friends find themselves undercover again trying to help stop the killings, but one of their biggest challenges is remaining undercover.
This was a cute 4th installment in the Vamped series. It has not only vampires, but ghosts, witches, the FBI, and even Ghost Hunters. Gina is quite the character, sassy, sarcastic, and has a great fashion sense. Though it didn't blow me away, I did find this to be a fun, action-packed series with plenty of ghoulish surprises. If you are looking for a fun, fast, paranormal read, then you may want to check Fangtabulous out.

This series keeps getting better with every book I read! Fangtabulous is my favourite by far, for so many reasons. I loved the character development, the intense plot, the mystery aspect interwoven within the storyline, and the ever-present signature humour of this series.
In Fangtabulous, Gina and the others are on the run from the Feds, after realizing that they aren't exactly the good guys. They decide to stay in Salem for a while, until they find out that the cast and producers of a supernatural TV show, Ghouligans, is in town. Being vamps, they have to avoid the cameras at all costs, but there's another risk too - they can't have the producers finding out their little secret. But the appearance of a supernatural strangler convinces them to stay, especially when Gina becomes a target.
I really like how much Gina's grown from the start of the series. In Vamped, she struck me as vain and superficial. But now, she's smart, kick-ass, and also really compassionate. She doesn't want to leave Salem because she wants to save everyone in the town from the strangler. She values their safety more than her own. She's still sarcastic and quirky, which are the things I like most about her. But I found it great that she also opened up to Bobby, her boyfriend, more. Their moments together were really cute! Speaking of Bobby, there's a nice little plot twist concerning him near the middle of the book. Okay, maybe I shouldn't say 'nice'. But it was both serious and hilarious at the same time, and I was torn between laughing and worrying for the better part of the book!
A character from a previous book returns in Fangtabulous, and that just made me love this book even more. Care to hazard a guess? It's Ulric, of course! The goth guy from ReVamped who had a thing for Gina? Well, he's back, and Bobby's not very happy about it! Ulric is my favourite character from the series, other than Bobby maybe, and I was so psyched to see him come back in this book! There wasn't exactly a love triangle here, but it was pretty close. I think one might develop in the next book. I'm intrigued to see how that would work. Anyway, Ulric is as hilarious as ever, and he's always there to give Gina a laugh when she needs one. I'm still Team Bobby all the way, though!
I loved that this book was about the Salem witch trials, because I've been interested in them ever since I first heard about them. They make a great background for the plot of a book. After reading Fangtabulous, I honestly can't wait to read the next one, assuming that the series will continue. And it should! With that ending, I'd love to find out what happens next. Fangtabulous is perfectly paced, action-packed, and a great balance or romance, suspense, and humour. If you've read the previous books in the Vamped series, you definitely can't mis out on this! And if you haven't started this series yet, what are you waiting for? Get to it!

When I first saw this book , I thought Lucienne Diver had created a new series as I remember years ago reading her book Vamped. To my surprise it is the same series and is Book #4 . Way back in Vamped we meet High school student Gina who had become a vampire and she wasn't going to let it stop her from enjoying the perks of eternal life and her current life starting with of course getting a whole new wardrobe. It seems that Gina has now adjusted to life as a Vampire and years later in Fangtabulous, she is now on the run from the Feds where she once worked as a spy and hanging out with her Vampire family and some of the same characters from her earlier books. It seems that Gina and her friends/family are on the run and the best place to hide due to a friend of a friend reference is the town of Salem , Masschuettes - yes that Salem where they held all the Witchcraft trials and Puritans lived centuries ago. It seems though, that their is evil and not the ordinary type of evil but something killing people in Salem . It turns out to be the spirit of one of the Salem Trial Inspectors and if Gina and her friends aren't careful, they may very well too end up on his list of victims. Can Gina and her friends not only solve the crime, but try and stay under the radar from police as they were on the run in the first place and of course , can Gina and best friend Macy keep their fashion uptodate or will they have to abandon their usual outfits and go undercover dressed as Quakers and Puritans to fit in ?

I received this book via the publishers through NetGalley. That in no way influenced my review.
Gina is a vamp on the run- but hey at least she still has her best friend Marcy and her vamp boyfriend Bobby with her. They had actually been a part of the Vamp Fed club until they discovered that the Fed was experimenting on vamps.
Why not hid out in the one place they probably wouldn’t look- Salem, Mass. Ironically, the home of the infamous witch hunts. Unfortunately, there are evil ghosts abounded and one takes up shop in Gina’s boyfriend.
Gina is as valley vamp gal as ever. Although, I got a little annoyed with her going back and forth between loving Bobby and lusting after Ulric. He is a guy she met on her first Vamp Fed mission. Bobby was as sweet and loving as ever except when he was possessed. Then he was a homicidal manic. Which for an extra special vamp- that’s not a good thing.
Fantgablous was not as exciting as I thought it would be. The end of Fangtastic was so well fantastic that I was hoping that Fangtabulous would jump right in where we were left hanging. There was little to no real excitement over the FBI chasing them. This was strange although it did get mentioned a few times. This book felt more like a filler book. There are still way too many loose ends for the series to be over and it did end in a tiny cliff-hanger. I just hope that with the next book there will be more resolution and fewer questions.

After finding out that the FBI was activity experimenting on vampires, Gina and crew fled in search of a place they can hold up and regroup. Along with Gina is her vampire boyfriend Bobby, Marcy her BFF and Brent who is a former Fed and a telemetric.
The crew ends up in Salem, Massachusetts home of the notorious witch trials and hi-jinx ensues when the Ghosts from the past start random killing and Gina and Crew decide to step up and help out. Characters like Ulric who was last seen on Gina’s first Fed sanctioned mission, FBI Agents Sid, Maya, Tina Carstairs, and Chaz make brief appearances, while others like Eric and Nelson exit stage left in order to save themselves from being captured by the FBI.
Fantabulous is an interesting story overall with the Ghouligans (Ghost Hunters) arrival, but a little too short for my tastes. I’m definitely looking towards the next book in the series to pick up the pieces.

This was the first book in the series that I have read so I had a little trouble figuring everything out at first. I would have liked to have had a bit more back story in the beginning.
This book follows Gina the vampire. She and her friends are on the run from the Feds. I have no idea why but they decide the best place to hide out is in Salem were everyone is used to the supernatural occurrences.
While in Salem they discover that there is a very real and every evil ghost that is not just haunting the people of Salem but actually killing them.
The group decides to try and solve the case all while trying to stay under the radar of not only the Feds but a Ghost Hunter TV crew that showed up to film haunted Salem.
I loved the rich history of Salem that we get to lean about. Vampires in Salem fighting angry Ghosts was a ton of fun. I am going to have to read the first few books and then maybe all the relationships will make more sense but I loved this book and cant wait to see what happens next!

Fangtabulous is the fourth book in the VAMPED series, one of my favorite YA paranormal series. If you love anything paranormal, quirky, and suspenseful, you'll love the Vamped saga.
The protagonist, Gina Covello is a fashionista of the fanged but fashion isn't her only priority. There's trouble in Salem. Bigtime trouble. And it unfortunately includes the love of her life, Hottie Bobby.
Now it's up to Gina to put a stop to the supernatural strangler before it's too late but that's not the only problem; she must do this without sacrificing her identity.
I absolutely loved how author Lucienne Diver took Gina and the crew to Salem. The setting. The mystery. The whole ghost/vampire/witches suspense. All awesome stuff!
Fangtabulous definitely lives up to its name! I've always enjoyed reading about Gina Covello's adventures. This one was one of my fave journeys.

Fangtabulous is #4 in a series but unlike books in many other series, it really doesn't stand alone. This book was my introduction to both the author and series and I could have used a little more back story woven into this one. As it was, I had to infer some things and just continue reading without understanding a "why" on others.
I'm usually a fan of YA fantasy ... it doesn't come with all the graphic sex scenes. Fangtabulous, however, puts the young in YA. I had a difficult time relating to much of the slang used by the characters.
All in all, it's a good story and a quick read, especially if you're a teenager. But I'd recommend reading the books in order.

The nest installment of the Vamped series. Gina, Bobby, Marcy, Brent, Eric, and Nelson are on their own this time. Without the Feds "backup" or the vampires "help". Salem is a very famous town, known for the witch trials in the late 1600s and n=now is someone getting back at civilization for being killed? With the help of a couple friends, new and old, a ghost and some witches and a human, will the gang be able to find out who is killing these innocent women. Awesome series installment, great book, lots of romance, plenty more actions, READ IT!

10*s. I borrowed this book from my local library and I am ready to leave my review.
I have loved this whole series and this book by far was my fave. Full of comedy, suspense, and many shockers that had me speechless. This is a MUST read teen paranormal that adults will get a big kick out of. Take the plunge and sink your teeth into this amazing book and series.

Fangtabulous is a great addition to the Vamped series, and my favorite book yet. For one thing, it takes place in Salem, and all the nitty gritty details make you feel as though you're there. I love the witches, and I love the growth and change in the way Gina and the gang interact with each other and deal with crisis. This is one not to miss!

This was only okay for a few reasons, first someone recommended it to me by itself and loaned it to me via their kindle library so I had no idea this was part of a series. Second, its part of a series and is a YA book...so going in I had no idea what was going on. That say it was an ok book, nothing special - vampires each with their own special super power solving a mystery very Scooby Do like.

I really hope this isn't the final book. If it is it was a bit of an unfinished one. I mean the story was great and funny and ended well, but not such a great ending if it's literally "THE END".
