Very poorly written, but some good insight on politics surrounding nasa and dod in particular.

Highlighted so many of the common sense and safety issues (and their unintended consequences). Political agendas twisting a dysfunctional organization, around a space platform which increasingly highlighted the flawed exercise and object lesson of politics over science and engineering.

I was a little disappointed in this book because it focused almost entirely on the politics behind the space program as opposed to the history of the events themselves. If you are very interested in the administration of the NASA program, then this is the book for you.
