亜樹 直 Agi Tadashi is a Japanese manga storywriter, novelist and screenwriter. His original name is Shin Kibayashi (樹林 伸 Kibayashi Shin). He was born in 1962 in Tokyo, and graduated from Tokyo Metropolitan Musashi Senior High School and Waseda University School of Economics & Political Science. The penname "Tadashi Agi" is shared with his sister. Under the name Yuma Ando, he received the 2003 Kodansha Manga Award for shōnen for writing Kunimitsu no Matsuri.

The conclusion to this series was pretty good, if not entirely satisfying. And it was a bit far-fetched, but that's true of most of the series.

I liked the art in this series a lot. I didn't fully appreciate it in the earlier volumes, but it grew on me as the series progressed.

first manga I’ve read! picked up from library. Started w the final series unintentionally... but enjoyed it! My quickest read of the year (mostly coz it’s a comic = accessible for a visual girlie like me). Engaging! And beautiful illustrations

The story is clear; the art is acceptable. But the story is cliche; it borrows from television dramas. I only had volume 10 of this manga series, but it was easy to pick up the story and characters in the middle. I'm glad I didn't have to plow through the first nine volumes to get here.
