Pamela Griffin lives in Texas with her family. She fully gave her life to Christ in 1988 after a rebellious young adulthood and owes the fact that she’s still alive today to an all-loving and forgiving God and to a mother who steadfastly prayed and had faith that God could bring her wayward daughter “home.” Pamela’s main goal in writing Christian romance is to help and encourage those who do know the Lord and to plant a seed of hope in those who don’t.

Four Christian stories each end with a Christmas wedding in the fictional town of Cut Corners, Texas, one in 1878, 1879, 1880, and 1881. Each story centers around the same town and the same main characters. Each story concludes with a recipe. My favorites in order:
"A Christmas Chronicle" by Pamela Griffin
"Here Cooks the Bride" by Cathy Marie Hake
"The Marrying Kind" by Kathleen Y'Barbo
"Unexpected Blessings" by Vickie McDonough
The authors are pretty consistent in their description of the town and its inhabitants, so it doesn't feel like 4 separate stories. It reads more like 4 chapters in the same book.

I loved reading these stories about Cut Corners, TX. It is a Christmas romances told in four different stories by four different authors. It is set in a small town founded by four retired Texas Rangers (in the 1870s) who are known as the Meddlin' Men. It has lots of humor included. This is a Christian romance novel. It really is a fantastic read. Everyone, I believe, would enjoy reading this book. I would love to read more novels from Cut Corners, TX and the people who make up that town.

What a delightful book about a new town being built in the Old West. Instead of Old Women being Matchmakers, this book has a twist and has a group of Old Men that play matchmaking with lots of humor. The stories flowed one into the other so we still heard of previous characters, which I absolutely love. This is a good romance, but also made me laugh right out loud.

4 different love stories. Not realistic at all. All were new comers to a small Texas Town. All fell in love within two weeks of meeting each other. They all happened to be Christmas weddings. I liked it because it was Christian. I liked it based in the 1800s. It also has recipes in it! I would have preferred it to be a continuous story not 4 very similar stories.

Love meeting all the characters in this book. Each story was different, yet you knew the outcome. It's amazing how people come together & fall in love. The whole town worked together to make 4 couples have a happy ending.

Four Christmas romances in an 1800s Texas town. The first one was poorly written, but the other three were nice.
