It's done. The mating bond is sealed, and I'm Malone's hybrid-witch.
It's not the happily ever after I'd always envisioned. The werewolves of the Brighton Pack are ready to do what their alpha couldn't. They just have to get in line behind my own coven, who not only want to end the first ever hybrid-witch, - I understand why considering my magic has trebled, making me the strongest witch alive - they are hunting my brother, Drake, who is still in recovery after a breakdown.
Malone has his own battles to fight, so he enlists my help to recruit runaway werewolves into his pack. We have to make it work in order to survive the enslaught that's baring down on us. Can we grow together to stop everyone tearing us apart?
Rachel Medhurst grew up in a small village in Surrey, England. She writes to inspire and heal. She lives in the British countryside with her dog. If she’s not writing, she can be found walking in nature and reading. 3.5* this book is an improvement from the first one. The plot had more depth and a mystery to unravel so I was much more invested in the story. Della and Malone's relationship developed a stronger emotional connection, however some of their conflicts were dragged out too much. I loved how beautifully the trans representation was handled but the mental health issues were still being addressed in an unnatural way. My main issue is still the characters, they keep flip flopping from hot to cold and randomly start having deep conversations resulting in instant BFF status.
Looking forward to see how Della and Malone face Kieran in the next one.
So I loved the first book and was so eager to read this second book and it did not let me down. We carry on from where book one left us and it’s just as exciting and entertaining and I could not put it down. Della and Malone have to work together to make everything work out all whilst others are out to get them and Della’s brother. It’s action packed, full of suspense, mystery and intrigue, power, magic and greed and thoroughly enjoyable and I could not put it down! Bring on the next book!
‘Her Wolf’s Demands’ is book two in Rachel Medhurst’s The Witches Pack series. This continues on from book one ‘The Wolf’s Witch’ and ends on a cliffhanger.
Della is a Hybrid Wolf-Witch who is wanted dead by her Coven of Witches for being an abomination and The Brighton Pack for breaking the Law. But now with her Mate Bond completed with Malone life is going to get crazier. While Della is fighting to live, Malone is fighting to keep Della alive and with him as well as keeping his Pack. With enemies on their borders Della and Malone need to prove to the Pack that it’s time to move forward with more modern day beliefs instead of the old ways that Malone’s father ruled.
This was such a great sequel, I was on the edge of my seat. This book is filled with so much action, drama, suspense, angst and love.
Loved watching Della and Malone’s relationship “grow”, two strangers that are enemies finding themselves in a unbreakable bond. The struggles they deal with between Della wanting to bind her Wolf, The Pack wanting Della dead, The Pack questioning Malone’s Alphaship, Drake being in trouble, Ertha wanting revenge. I get chills now just thinking about it all.
I couldn’t put this book down, I was hooked from the beginning and read it in one sitting. I am obsessed with this storyline, plot and characters. I can’t wait for the next book ‘The Wolf’s Proposal’ to see how things go for everyone.
I was waiting with baited breath for this second book in the series and am thrilled to say that that it blew me away. We pick up with Della and Malone as they wait the decision of the pack and let us just say that things are not exactly going well between them. The pack decides to let her stay but they are pretty divided about it. The younger members of the pack are quite happy to have her on board and the older pack members, those that were loyal followers of Malone's father. With things still so up in the air between them Della is still unsure of whether or not she is going to bind her wolf but until she decides she is kind of loving her new found powers which are pretty extreme. I loved the characters and I really enjoyed getting to know more about the pack and Della's brother. But the uncertainty between the two of them is the least of their problems as enemies come at them harder than ever and they discover the plans that the witches have which could mean the end of Malone's pack. Can these two realise that there is so much more between them than just the mating bond and will Malone be able to accept that Della is not a submissive woman, she is headstrong, independent and strong?
I received a free copy of this book directly from the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is a great second installment to the story of Della, the witch-wolf hybrid, and Malone, her wolf and alpha.
Ertha, the coven leader, and Kieran, Malone's enemy from a rival wolf pack, are in league to bring down Della, her brother Drake, and Malone's pack.
Action scenes are clear and riveting, while intimate scenes between Della and Malone are tender and build their relationship, creating a strong alliance and understanding. Della slowly wins over the loyalty of the pack and even makes a few friends. Malone shows that he is strong and dominating, yet fair and compassionate. They are both likable characters and I was happy to see them growing to trust and respect one another.
The book ends on a brief respite between battles with a larger one on the horizon, to be addressed in the next book. I'm looking forward to it.
I can´t decide if it was better of worst than first book in this series. There is a hint of plot, hint of character development, hint of something more than just a romance between Della and Malone, but... It is poorly written and the author did not really use the potential of the story she outlined at the beginning. Furthermore, even though she tried to go deeper into the dynamics of the pack, in her story she ignored many of the laws that exist among wolves and only focused on what was convenient for her. Golden Patricia Briggs with her Mercedes Thompson or Omega series, in which she wonderfully depicts how it works in packs and which position means what. If you really like werewolves and wolves, this series is definitely not for you. On the other hand, if you enjoy light reading and "romance first" with naive and pathetic main characters, this is probably the good choice for you.
I am always a fan of book series in general (especially one by Rachel), but this one has definitely become a favorite out of the gate… and the second book is going just as strong! A wolf-witch hybrid, mental health issues and the stigma and battle that goes with them, unexpected fated matees who don’t quite know what to do with each other and all time high tension between the wolves and witches. How could this not be a great story?!?! I can’t wait to read book 3 and see where things go next!!! Absolutely loving this story and the true to life attention it brings to mental illness and the invisible illness community. Rachel is absolutely incredible!!

Della and Malone are back and dealing with each other and the fall out of their mating and what it means going forward. And what is up with the other characters too? Just a good book that made me laugh, groan and want to hit someone a few times too. Feel for Della but sometimes she is a blast to read about with how her life has gone sideways. Fingers crossed that she would survive to the end of this book, hint she did, and cannot wait to see what will happen next. Good guys bad guys good guys again? Just entertaining to read.
"Her Wolf's Demands" by Rachel Medhurst is a delightful blend of wolf/alpha, and witch fantasy Romance. While not a literary masterpiece, it's a comforting and engaging read for fans of the genre. The story's improved development from the first book makes it even more enjoyable. If you loved the first one, you'll want to read the rest of the series for more of the intriguing and comforting fantasy you crave.
“That’s all anyone wanted, wasn’t it? To be loved by someone who would have their back, always.”
I couldn't wait for this second book in the series and was it ever exciting and good. There is so much at stake for Della and Malone and way too many obstacles. Who the heck are the good guys, the witch coven or the wolf pack? There is so much suspense and action and the not knowing which way the story will go, that kept me on the edge of my seat. The story just flowed and kept my interest from beginning to end. I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading the next book.
This book carries on seamlessly from book one. It is well written and the characters and story are well developed. I live watching the character dynamics develop and evolve through the book. The story was excellent. It is action packed and has plenty of twists and turns. There is suspense, intrigue, emotion, hot chemistry and romance. I’d highly recommend this book and look forward to the next book in this series!!
In book 2 Della learns more to accept her new reality as a hybrid and try to earn the trust of a pack that wants her out. Della and Malone have a vision for a different future for the pack but getting everyone on board is a lot harder than they anticipated... The pack isn't Della's only problem with the coven determined to break up their union too. Look forward to seeing where the next book goes. Recommend reading 📚
I gotta admit the first book in this series was so boring at the start and didn't get interesting till towards the end so I didn't think I would be reading the next book but the ending had me intrigued and so I proceeded to read this book and I'm glad I did. Cause it was exciting and full of action not a dull moment and the relationship between the heroine and the hero was better. I quite enjoyed it and going to read the next one and see what's gonna happen next with the witch and her wolf
Great sequel, picks right up when the 1st book ends. Drake, Malone, and a few are fleshing out nicely and feeling more and more like full circle people. Search and rescue missions bond the group, power and greed bond other groups, makes for thrilling competition. I MUST read the next book as soon as possible. Rachel Medhurst has not let me down with this story.
Della and Malone find a conspiracy going on and Ertha controls the witches she plans something evil with the Crowder wolves. Drake's life is threatened. This is an interesting storyline and the characters are intriguing and entertaining. Book 2. Drama, suspense, danger, romance, love. I was read an ARC via BookFunnel without obligation. I volunteered an honest review.
Although I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I'm still struggling with the lack of character details. I can somewhat picture who they are, but the details aren't direct and I have to piece them together. But the characters are amazing and the storyline is incredible
As much as I loved where book 1 ended, I hated how this one started. It was so frustrating but it got much better. There were a few things that dragged like the constant threat of Della binding her wolf when it was quite obvious she wouldn’t do it. Otherwise, it was a good book and worth a read. I do look forward to read the next in the series.
Wow talk about exciting. This book left me filled with excitement that left me on the edge of my seat. Now that the werewolf witch is excepted into the pack with her alpha I look forward to what happens next.
I can not wait for the next book. I love this series. I can’t wait to see if there will be more to Drake and if he will have his life turn around for the better. I feel for him.
Loved this book as much as the first! I Cant wait until the third book comes out! I'm bummed that I'm having to say goodbye to this world until the next book releases!
