It was a good book but I only read it as a drawing guide.

For what it is, this book does a nice job. It's clear the editors are knowledgeable. But, it's also outdated. Times change, and over time, this book will become increasingly less about "modern" military aircraft and more about "cold ware" military aircraft. I also felt like they missed opportunities in the information they provided. I would have liked more about who was flying each aircraft, what conflicts the aircraft participated in, how successful they were in said conflicts, what they cost, etc etc. More context information to go with the technical information.
