I do not read through the same version of the Bible twice in a row. I have, of course, reread versions throughout the years. While many people dislike this version, and it was not popular and may not even be published any longer, I found it to be easy to read and understand. I even did a verse by verse personal study in the book of Revelation, this read. I would not say it is my favorite dynamic equivalence version (more thought for thought while formal equivalence is more literal) , I reserve The New Living Translation for the favored dynamic equivalence, in my preference. I did grow in faith and further knowledge and understanding with this time in the TNIV New Testament.
