The president and director of family education at the Hyde School, which emphasizes attitude over aptitude, effort over achievement, and character over talent, demonstrate how parents can enhance their children's education by improving family dynamics.
I read this book twice. The authors do a wonderful job laying out things I have always felt strongly about in a very logical and interesting way. As a teacher I see the results of all kinds of parenting styles and my most well adjusted and successful students almost universally have parents who follow these principles. I wish all parents would read this book!
This book was suggested by our middle school parent book. I didn't get through it but liked what i read. I will pick it up again another time - too many good fiction books calling my name.
