This is a really great collection of short stories, ranging from very good to excellent, by Isaac Asimov, Robert Silverburg, Algis Budrys, Theodore Sturgeon, Frank Herbert, CL Moore, Hal Clement, Ben Bova, Stanley Schmidt, Katherine MacLean, and Robert Heinlein. If you're not familiar with these authors and want to find new authors to read this is a very good sampler.
