i've found many wonderfully creative and environmentally friendly ideas already.

it has suggestions like using composite decking planks to frame out a raised bed to prevent woodrot, and use pvc pipes to anchor them in place, leaving a hole to support frames for row covers, trellis, strawberry netting, or whatnot. how to build a compost bin out of 4 wood pallets, 6 corner braces and screws, and two bungee cords. it also suggests making your own aeration tool out of a coat hanger and old mop handle. how to make many different kinds of trellises, and creative ways to irrigate your garden.

So I didn't exactly read this cover to cover, but it's a great gardening reference book. You could find all these ideas on the internet, but sometimes it's nice to have a book to flip through and bookmark. I am excited to get my garden going this year!
