This book looks at 16 festival/celebrations from around the world. There is information about each festival and how it is celebrated. Each chapter also includes either a recipe, arts & craft project, or game that can be made by an adult with a child or an older child with a younger child. A little simplistic but could be used in conjunction with other resources.
This teacher resource book is a good book for teachers to use when it comes to learning about their student's culture. It would come into good use if teachers were to have a nationality day, to come up with ways on how to cook certain foods, play different games or make different crafts representing the culture. I found this book to be very helpful and resourceful to use in a classroom or for a certain school event.
