This summer we spent a great deal of time exploring Korean food. But every time we walked into a restaurant we were confused and a little intimidated. We wanted to have a better idea what to expect. So I grab this book and it really helped us understand and enjoy the food better. The book has a very extensive glossary & explanation of ingredients with pictures. The photography is beautiful. We did made a few of the salads and we earmarked some soups for this coming autumn. My gamble paid off. We are now comfortable in any Korean restaurant and we have a lot of them to explore. Yum!

Easy to follow recipes for some very tasty meals, I have tried 20 or so recipes, and thanks to the internet you can find the components you need. The Kim-Chi recipes are all very good, I have tried them all. The book starts with an explanation of cooking styles, utensils, and good history. Check it out.
