Yes, I read this entire book. I was so stressed about doing a FSBO before reading this book. While nothing can alleviate entirely the stress of staging and selling one's home, this definitely reduced my anxiety and overall I feel much less a dummy on the subject of home selling. A big thank you to my friend, Sarah, for sharing this with me!
I am really glad I checked out this book, I feel so much more informed about the process of selling a house. Boy did we save the Harris' a lot of trouble! We were considering "For Sale by Owner", but have decided working with a realtor would probably be best, especially in this market. I also liked what the book had to say about staging and preparing your house to sell- now I'm busy putting some of those things to use!Wish us luck!
A MUST buy if you are selling a home. It provides the most practical tips to get the most out of your home. I searched through many "house selling" books, this one cuts right to the chase. The chapters are very clear, pages are marked so that you don't miss critical information. With this book you will definitely increase the sale price of your home. Highly recommended.
This book is extremely well organized, easy to read, and offers excellent information for anyone looking to sell a home. It's broken up into chapters and sections of information that make it an excellent reference book- easy to flip to a particular section, or to read cover to cover. We feel a lot better equipped to select the right agent , price our home properly, handle offers/counters,etc.
I just finished this the day our option period ended and the home sale went through. I wish I'd read it earlier, really useful stuff. I think we did a good job, but the pricing and negotiating sections really would've helped.
(4.0) Helpful tips covering lots of cases (many don't apply to us, but made me feel there's not anything we're missing). Good after reading the companion for buying a home: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
