About the author

Michelle Celmer was born in Detroit, Michigan, USA, where she grew up. She wanted to be cosmetologist, but after three months at cosmetology school, she decided to left it. She married at 19, and within five years had three kids. She read voraciously, and decided writing. She signed up for a composition course at her local community college. After various manuscripts, her mother gave her "Tell Me Lies" by Jennifer Crusie, and she discovered the romance novels. She decided writing her own romance novel and on 2004, her firts book was published.

Michelle continued linving in southeastern Michigan with her husband, their three children, two dogs and two cats. When she's not writing or busy being a mom, you can find her in the garden or curled up with a romance novel. And if you twist her arm real hard you can usually persuade her into a day of power shopping.

Oh, che gioia! Non avrei dato mezza possibilità a questo romanzo, già dal titolo e dalla copertina mi sembrava qualcosa da abbandonare dopo cinque pagine e invece… non solo Michelle ha inventato una storia originale, ma l’ha condotta con semplicità, chiarezza e sensualità. E molta intelligenza. Adam è ricco e vuole un erede. Katy è una cow girl, ed è la sorella della sua defunta moglie. Quello che la quarta non dice è che suo cognato avrebbe dovuto avere un figlio in provetta con sua sorella, che purtroppo se n’è andata per un male incurabile, ma i suoi ovuli congelati sono ancora su questa terra e lui cerca una donna di cui fidarsi per la gestazione: indovinate un po’ chi insiste per portare avanti la gravidanza? Ne succederanno delle belle. Ironia, passione e una bella storia. Mi è proprio piaciuto.

La rilettura fa perdere una stella a questo romanzo e lo fa uscire dalla libreria. La trama è carina e sia protagonisti che comprimari sono ben descritti e piacevoli. La protagonista, in breve, subentra nella gravidanza della sorella morta con gli ovuli congelati prima del decesso. Il petroliere ex marito della protagonista, però, scopre che non sarà niente di freddo, anzi. E nel frattempo tante cose non erano come sembrava. Carino, sì, ma letto due volte è sufficiente.

This story was the perfect combination of sweet and sour. The reader cheers on Adam's quest to find happiness and Katy's need for self-confidence.

Adam un multimillonario guapo, sexy y muy actractivo.
Katy una chica humilde y trabajadora.
Ambos tienen algo en común que los une.... Becca.
Becca es la difunta hermana de Katy y la difunta esposa de Adam.
Después de tres años, Adam desea ver a su cuñada para ponerle en aviso de que desea un hijo. Para ello necesita una mujer que se implante el ovulo de su esposa. Todo se dificulta cuando su cuñada se ofrece como voluntaria para concebir a su sobrino.
¿Habrá olvidado su amor por su cuñado?

With an odd arrangement and two characters who live in vastly different worlds, this book gives the reader hope that love can spring up where there is a single seed of passion. I can't wait to read more books by this author.
