Sometimes I think the people who write these books get a kick out of phrasing things in ways that barely make sense. Plenty of interesting topics covered in this book, and the word choices were occasionally interesting as well. And by that I mean annoying and frustrating.
Textbook for my Social Psychology course. It's my first psychology textbook so I don't have any other reference, but it was a comfortable read with clear presentation, many examples and good follow-up summaries. And the kindle version I bought on amazon is definitely a great deal (5.26 eur -> now: 4.97 eur).
I don't think I'll ever read this book in its entirety. I had to read it (most of it, at least) for my Social Psychology course and I still regret buying it. I've seen and read better Psychology textbooks. Maybe the 1 star is a harsh critique but I'm very disappointed.
