There are some things you just can't run away from. For Lexi, that something was this screwed up new found reality that she encountered; and no matter how much Tyler may try to protect her from his kind, it is just too late. Lexi is involved in his world far deeper than she can possibly imagine, and as she is haunted by her past, Lexi is forced to make a choice between her soul mate, the one who she thought was gone forever, and the one who restored her soul, bringing her back to life with the ties of a blood imprint.

Are you freaking kidding me? I thought this was going to get better but I have to say that I didn't like it. So I thought given how the first book ended that this was just going to continue to heat up… it didn't. The last book basically leaves up driving up the mountain at 100mph towards a cliff then this book starts she and we're driving 20mph again. So it again drags for most of the book… and we're trying to find out why the heroine is living with the antagonists but that question is never answered, all while other plot twists are dropped. The heroine is extremely naive and a complete damsel. She doesn't fight for herself at all but she will fight for both her vampire boyfriends. And again I'm feeling like I've read a lot of this in The Twilight Saga. These two books were just not for me. I generally like YA books but this was hard to read.

I really enjoyed book 2! I enjoyed the glimpses into the past and the struggles that were still being faced by Tyler and Lexi, wow. There were a few new dynamics thrown into their already complicated relationship. I keep rooting for them.

There was adventure, mystery, intrigue, new friendship, new twists and turns and more. I can't wait for book 3!

I listened to the audio version. The narrators did a phenomenal job! I really felt connected to the story and the characters!

***** Slight spoiler***

Matt... my heart broke for him as he struggled throughout the book. My heart heart for Lexi and all that they were going through during this story.

Oh my lots of twist and turns.

So we start with Lexi not sure what had happen to her after seeing Matt. She is in the hospital and her parents jobs moved them back Florida, but Lexi didn't want to go back she really wanted to stay in NY and ended up living with Nick, Anne and Lars. While living in the house things got a lot worse for her. If you are looking for a good vampire series check this one out for sure. So many twist and turns you can't stop reading. Can't wait to learn what happens with the rest of the series. Daniele had a very different approach with her vampires.

The plot thickens

The second installment picks right up where book 1 ended. I can’t help but question Lexi’s judgment sometimes. I wonder what I would do if I were in her shoes. The plot truly thickens as we meet a few more characters and discover that each vampire has their own agenda. I’m intrigued by Ann’s powers and I’m very curious to see who will come out on top at the end.
The narrators did a great job, but I’m really a big fan of Krys. We hear a lot from Krys narration and I feel like she’s really a perfect voice for Lexi. She draws me into the story and keeps me intrigued.

This storyline just keeps on getting better and better. The characters have such great personalities. I’m really enjoying all the twists and turns that this storyline is unravelling with each chapter. I can’t wait for the next book as I need to know who is on the side of good and who is on the side of evil. Brilliant performance from both Krys and Grant yet again.

Alexis is great and it would be a difficult love triangle. I want to move on to book three but I don't know that I'll finish it. And this series is just too good! I got a free copy but this is my honest and voluntary review.

BLOODLUST is the second book in the IMPRINTED SOULS series by Daniele Lanzarotta. It follows the story of Lexi, who lost Matt, her soul mate, in an accident a year before the first book begins.

Just when she has started to move on with her life, Lexi sees a new man, Tyler, in her dreams - and then she meets him while staying in Italy. The first book in the series captures readers' attention with unexpected twists and turns. This new installment picks the story up within hours after the first book's cliffhanger ending.

Lexi wakes up in the hospital without any memory of her relationship with Tyler. When her parents arrange for her to stay with Nicholas, they unwittingly help her reconnect with Matt. Unfortunately, though, staying with Nicholas is not healthy for Lexi, physically or emotionally. Nicholas is immersed in the new world Lexi has entered, and exposure to the vampire community will challenge everything she knows.

As the story progresses, Lexi must make a choice between Matt and Tyler. Which love is the strongest? Can she save both or will she lose them both? Readers who enjoy vampire stories will love this new novel, as well as the first in the series.

Another great book by Daniele! I started this one immediately after finishing Imprinted Souls, the first in the series, in just a few short hours!
And like the first one, in just a few short hours I found my self immersed in the world living along side the characters! I find myself trying to steer them in the directi0n I want them to go, and feeling their emotions! I've already downloaded #3 and am only taking a short break to write reviews and eat before I jump back into the wonderful world!

From the cliff hanger in the first book Imprinted Souls to another. This book keeps you wondering about the intentions of all the characters involved. There is lots of love and revenge to keep you reading till the end. Great book! Ready to start the next in the series Devine Ashes. What will happen to Lexi?

I liked this second book but it was such a mixture of "Twilight" meets "Morganville Vampires". (Especially Morganville Vampires in this one). I am going to keep reading the series because I like the characters, I just feel like I've read some of it before....
On to book three!
