Writing has always been a big part of my life. Since I was a child I've known exactly where my passion lay. No matter what's gone on in my life writing has been my touchstone. After all, we all need a place to escape to. Reading is my idea of heaven. There's nothing I like more than to switch everything off, close the bedroom door, and curl up with a good book. I have a feeling that's something all at Goodreads can identify with.
Thanks for taking the time with me today. Now do something for yourself, go and curl up in your own reading heaven.
Roux and Xavien—for the past several years, they’ve been in an exclusive chat room but have never met each other. Until she and her team go to pitch their idea for a new program to a panel and he sits in on it. Turns out, he’s the CEO of the company. They have an extremely combative relationship dynamic, but it works for them. And eventually they come to realize they’re the other one’s person in every way and get married. Though it’s unconventional, they are poised for their own HEA. Part of the Roxieverse series.

The fact that I’m only the 2nd person to write a review for this book on GR? Wild. And I know I read a lot of obscure books.
I loved the fact that the FMC had no qualms about taking a billionaire’s money and she was so confident. I want more FMC’s like that in billionaire romances. Let your rich boy toy give you things!
Didn’t love all the side characters and long winded arguments but everything else was actually really good. The audiobook for this slaps.
This book is one of those books that once you start it, it's hard to put down. The chemistry between Rouke and Radley is off the scales. The way that they just bounce off each other is amazing. Scarlett has written another exceptional and gripping book that is true to her style, which is always a great read and never disappoints ❤️📖
I liked all the books in this series, but this one rubbed me the wrong way. There was so much misogyny and just too many exploitative innuendoes. It just felt out of theme with the others. I like that Roxy still makes a presence, but it’s getting a bit queen bee and her minions.
