I thought it was cute! My Grandbaby Hannah bear wanted Nany to read to her, so she chose this book. She loves to wash her hands, It's a fun book to read, the illistrations are adorable.
It was ok. I liked it because it teaches you to wash your hands, wash your hands, WASH YOUR HANDS! It's also silly because she says I washed them after playing outside, I washed them after playing with the dog, I washed them after going on my potty, I washed them after sneezing and then she says why? Because of germs and nasties said the maid. What are germs and nasties said the Little Princess.

Princess wants to know why everyone keeps telling her to wash her hands. She did it after playing outside, she did it after playing with the dog, she even did it after going to the potty. Why does she need to keep washing her hands? Read to find out! Great book to introduce germs and why we wash our hands. My preschool bunch loved this book.

AKA: I Don't Want to Wash My Hands. An engaging tale, featuring the exuberant Little Princess, about when and why she needs to wash her hands. It's told in a lighthearted way with humorous illustrations (check out the picture of the king with the peg on his nose). A perfect readaloud for an upcoming hygiene-themed storytime!
I chose this book for a nursing school project where we had to teach handwashing to 3 year olds at a local preschool/day care center. It served as a great tool.
