This book had really good writing until she got married, which in my opinion made no sense. I started sobbing reading this on page 40, and I loved it until the point where she got married. It just made no sense to me why she would marry the comte when she was so set on her education and was wise because of all the trauma she experienced. Anyway the book before she got married was amazing and truly good writing, then it went downhill.
