One reason that I really like this book is because it is rather tricky to find any books to teach children counting beyond 1-10, and this book helps them counting by their 10s so it helps them memorize those numbers beyond 10 and 20.

Great counting book where the ants take everything from the picnic, even aunt Helen! Counting by tens backwards. Great for storytime

"I liked that there were one hundred ants, and I liked counting them by ones and tens."
