16's fun-packed pages featured enduring celebrities like "Mike" Jackson, Jim Morrison, and Elton John...and teenage crush objects like Leif Garrett and Bobby Sherman. Their glossy pinups immortalized musical legends from the Beatles to the Bay City Rollers. Now, from the editors of 16 Magazine who put together the classic "16" '70s look, blasts from the past and updated interviews and information on the icom and idols who papered the walls and fueled the fantasies of millions of girls.

She wrote the Clueless series, original stories based on the characters in the movie, as well as six books based on the character of TV's Moesha. Her original fiction series called T*Witches is a Disney Channel TV movie, broadcast October 2005. [NOTE: Although Witches is in the title, this series is completely wholesome, compelling, and humorous, and has nothing to do with the occult].
Enjoyable when you were a teenager back in those years but little is said and learned and of course one must not expect great literature. Just found out that back in those days, some story-tellers were having sex with stars like Jim Morisson but those were the sixties, right? Oh yeah! and none of the stories that were printed were true. They were just made up because stars were more wicked and horny than young innocent teenagers thought. Except the Osmonds, of course...
I loved this nostalgic look at 16 magazine and all the teen idols it produced thru the decades. I was a 16 junkie starting with the days of the Monkees and continuing thru Bobby Sherman, David Cassidy & the Osmond Brothers.
