The redoubtable Grandma-this book is a sequel to Grandma Drove the Garbage Truck-is at it again. In addition to collecting the town's garbage, Grandma and her sons also plow the roads in the winter. But what happens when a blizzard comes through, it's the day of the big town carol sing, and Grandma's sons are all stuck in the snow and unable to plow? Leave it to Grandma to clear the way to the church for the carol sing. With more help from her grandson Billy, she gets the streets clear and helps out her neighbors in the process, too. In fact, Grandma does such a good job with the plowing, she even beats Santa to the carol sing.
Yay grandma! What a cute picture book with great animated illustrations! Grandma and Billy, her grandson, were making cookies when they heard a weather bulletin come across the radio about a blizzard! Well, grandma ended up having to drive the snowplow to clear the roads for safe travel. You see, the towns holiday event, the Carol sing was that night. Grandma had a few mishaps along the way but do you believe she was able to get the job done? Such a wonderful story with small town traditions! *Look for this read a loud on my YouTube channel!🤗
This book is similar to the original “Grandma Drove the Garbage Truck”. Grandma needs to clear the snow from the town streets so everyone can safely travel to the holiday festivities. She has a few mishaps along the way but gets the job done. Silly and fun for preschool and early elementary kids.
This is a great seasonal book for the Thanksgiving / Christmas holiday season. The illustrations add much to the text. Students are able to look for details in the illustrations while being entertained by the story.
This is a cute book with grandma taking off her apron and taking the wheel of the snowplow to save the town's Carol Sing during the big storm. A little wordy, but for little ones who love trucks and Christmas, this one will work for the right read-aloud performer.
A cute idea, but my daughter found the story confusing. The brief text didn't always explain what was happening in the pictures. (why are the animals in the back of the plow?)
WOW! What a story! And what brilliant colors in these illustrations, too! I wish there recommend this ebook from five stars and for kids ages 4-8. I received this ebook for free and in return, here Is my honest review. Super job Kate! By Angela
Cute book where Grandma saves the day. When all else fails Grandma jumps into the snowplow and clears the roads (along with anything that was in her way) in time for the big "Carol Sing" party.
