This book was a short information book about how a seed comes to be and the process of becoming a plant. As an adult, I was not very impressed with the book. However, I know this would be helpful for children just learning about seeds and this would be helpful to them. I did like that the book put the pronunciation of some words by the word to help readers that struggle with them. Overall, I see the benefit of this book.

This book is great for younger students to understand the process of a seed growing into a plant. The book also touches on how some seeds make flowers before the fruit comes instead of sprout. It also talks a little bit about the pollination process.

Informational

This book provides tons of great pictures along with great information about seeds. It explains the whole process of how a seed forms and then transforms into different plants or trees. The end provides important vocabulary words to remember when learning about seeds.

Great book for showing the life cycle of a plant in depth without completely confusing a younger child. Written for lower grades, but could be simplified for preschoolers.

For a two-second book, this actually contains a decent amount of information! While clearly simplified for a child, it doesn't come across as condescending, and that's a huge plus in my book. Great as a read-aloud for the little ones or as an early reader if they're a tad older.
