Reminded me why I don't read Harlequin Romance, ever. I was just cruising through my Kindle looking for a lite romance and came across this. First off the author is Australian and some of the idioms were tough to follow. Second, I just didn't feel the love.
Cameron Kelly of the mega rich Kellys, ducks into the Planetarium to hide from his sister and finds Rosalind, a girl he went to high school with, but didn't remember. Cam is estranged from his family and has a lot to sort out. He needs a diversion and Rosie would do quite nicely.
Rosie is totally self sufficient because her mom trusted a man, it ended badly and she never moved on. She is an astrophysicsist and has lived all over the world. She had a mega crush on Cam in high school and still feels his power to turn her life inside out. She also feels that he is a decent man who needs to make peace with his family.

Ημουν σίγουρη πως κάτι θα έσπαζε το σερί των 5άστερων και 4άστερων που διάβασα τελευταία! Κρίμα γιατί από την περίληψη φαινόταν να έχει δυνατότητες για μια καλή βαθμολογία. Αν και το στόρι μου άρεσε κάτι με χάλασε που δεν μπορώ να το εντοπίσω ακριβώς -και όχι, δεν ήταν μόνο το ότι οι ερωτικές σκηνές ήταν επιγραμματικές!!!
Θα κάνω άλλη μια προσπάθεια με την συγκεκριμένη συγγραφέα με το 2ο βιβλίο της σειράς των Κέλι του Μπρισμπέιν! Θα δείξει ...

I love Ally blake, will read anything from her, and as usual I loved this one too :) It was a little raunchier than I was expecting for a Sweet Romance (making sweet love before marriage - gasp, the scandal!) but for me, that just made it more contemporary and honest.Gorgeous cheeky heroine an alpha hero who finally comes to his sense. Satisfying read.

On a full scholarship she was from a different socio economic background and lived by a different set of values to her wealthy cohorts.
Rosie was academic and pursued an intellectual career.
Reacquainting with Cameron Kelly was fulfilling a major crush fantasy.
He was drop dead gorgeous, from a well known family and oozed confidence.
The lure was too much and she was on path to discover what the future may hold.
Cameron was born into privilege and wealth.
Taking his education and lifestyle for granted.
Successful in his own right as a Brisbane tycoon and most eligible bachelor.
Swept off his feet at her beauty and charisma he was shocked to learn that they were at school together.
Can a wholesome girl become part of world she knows little about and tame a playboy in the process ?
The chemistry and attraction was dripping from the pages.
The interludes and intimacy between the lovers exuded desire and sensual activities.
Will an invite to Cameron’s fathers birthday extravaganza cement or dent the dalliance.
I really enjoyed the exploration these two have coming from different worlds.
An image of hot rich boy Cameron in Rosie’s caravan will remain vivid.
Well written and intrigued to read more of the Kelly family.

Me ha gustado, la forma en la que Cam y Rosie se conocen es muy cute, a pesar de que Rosie tiene su autoestima por los suelos al saber que Cam es completamente diferente a ella, no se deja hacer menos y es totalmente sincera siempre, sin miedo a que Cam la juzgue o algo así.
Cameron se da cuenta de que Rosalind es especial con el simple hecho de ni siquiera tener miedo de dejarla sola con su hermano Dylan, sabe que Rosie es diferente y no debe tener miedo de que ella pueda ser una interesada y ya.
Me agrado mucho el hecho de que Cameron a pesar de todo, la buscaba y quería saber más de ella, me gustó que dejara de lado sus miedos gracias a ella.
“—Tiene usted una manera muy extraña de ver el mundo, señorita Harper.
—Lo miró exactamente como lo mira usted, señor Kelly. Solo que unos centímetros más cerca del suelo.”
“—Pensé que, si no querías verme, no volvería a buscarte, pero estaba engañándome a mí mismo. Si me hubieras dado con la puerta en las narices, habría entrado por la ventana, por la chimenea o por la cañería. Was looking for a light read after a couple of heavy going books and this pretty much did what it said on the tin.
The only real issue I had with it was that some of the vocabulary really didn't fit in with a romance novel (infinitesimally for example) which made a couple of the sentences quite jarring.
The story was okay, not mind-blowing but my expectations really weren't set that high. It was a little rushed in places, specifically at the end, and a couple of the events did seem to be a little bit of a reach for dramatic effect. With all that said though, it's a good little book if you're looking for a light, pleasant read during a holiday or other downtime.

I'm excited to know the story of Cammy and Rosie.Gosh!They are married already in Book 2(Dylan and Wynnie) which I had read from the translation of Precious Hearts Romances(Philippines).Thank you.
